On Page Protection and the Chairman Mao Troll
Hi all. I'm just reiterating what I've said elsewhere. I should note that this is specifically written as a continuation of a discussion I'm having with Ren and Tigerman, but it is a general commentary on the thoughts everyone has been expressing on this troll obsessed with the Chinese Communist Party.
Many think it is appropriate to protect all nine thousand pages for the next three months, limiting editing to only those with admin privileges for the duration of this lockdown. I hope reading that sentence alone illustrates the absurdity of such an action, and that I should not need to further explain how insane such a proposal is.

"FANDOM Unification"
Hello all. Assuming you haven't seen it already, just so you know major changes are on their way.
Don't worry! Nearly everything will still be the same.
- The content of the wiki will stay the same.
- All edit histories will stay the same, it seems.
- Individual user rights will stay the same. For those of us who are admins, we'll still be admins (albeit possibly with a different group name and some minor tweaking to the specific things admins can do)
- Jaden's Adventures Wiki will still be Jaden's Adventures Wiki. We will not be forcibly merged with some other wiki, or experience a massive increase in the amount of new users.
Article comments are going away as a function. I don't know what this means (will old comments still be visible or will they be deleted) …
Protection
Okay guys, I thought we were past this.
This dick sockpuppet who is "carrying on the legacy" of Mitch Floride does not warrant having every page protected. If he continues sockpuppeting, someone will message FANDOM staff to get his IP blocked, but until then, there is no need to lock the wiki down. I am rolling back all protections that were just added, and I expect all of you with the same editing permissions to do the same.

European Union Law
I feel that everybody, everywhere on the FANDOM network, should see this article.
Basically, the EU (where Fandom is partly based) is passing a new law that requires the site to regulate and censor every edit to ensure best possible quality. Staff is opposed to this, but will be forced to comply if the law gets passed. As this would drastically affect every wiki hosted by FANDOM, I am doing my best to spread the word.
