Thunderbolts Spring Fling Stories

These are stories of the Thunderbolts having some spring time fun with their friends and family.

Chapter 1: Easter Egg Hunt at Blueberry Academy[]

(Courtney, Eclipse, Little Betty, and Elfilin have their Easter baskets ready for the Easter egg hunt in the Terarium)
Courtney: Okay, guys. Ready for the Easter egg hunt?
Eclipse: Yep!
Little Betty: Sure am!
Elfilin: Ditto, big sis!
Courtney: Okay, let’s go over the rules. Rule 1#: You have to get your own eggs, that means no stealing from anyone else’s basket. Rule 2#: Buddy up and stick with your partner, the Terarium is a big place and you don’t wanna end up getting lost. Rule 3#: Have fun. Sounds good enough?
(They all nod yes)
Courtney: Okay then, let’s go!
(They head to the Terarium for the Easter egg hunt. Courtney and Elfilin were partnered up and Eclipse has partnered up with Little Betty)
Courtney: Okay. The eggs we hunt for are worth points. Normal Easter eggs are worth 1 point each, the silver eggs are worth 5 points each and the golden eggs are worth 10 points each. The one that gets the most points wins some Peeps and other Easter goodies. Ready, set, go! *heads off to search for eggs with her little brother*
Eclipse: Let’s go!
Little Betty: Yeah!
(The two groups head off to go hunt for Easter eggs. Courtney and Elfilin were searching in the Coastal Biome for some eggs)
Courtney: *looks into a bush and turns to her brother* Find anything, Elfilin?
Elfilin: *searches a tree for some eggs* No, not yet.
Courtney: Keep looking. Leave no stone unturned. *lifts a huge leaf from a bush and looks under it*
Elfilin: *sees a golden egg in a tree and grabs it* Found one!
Courtney: Good job, little brother! That means you’ve got 10 points!
Elfilin: *puts the golden egg in his basket*
Courtney: *sees a silver egg sitting by a rock!* I found a silver egg! *grabs it and puts it in her basket* Looks like I got 5 points.

Chapter 2: The Easter Time Parade[]

(Courtney and her friends were in their finest Easter outfits because they were gonna be in the Easter Time Parade)
Courtney: As this year’s Easter Time Parade queen, I must say you all look like the literal definition of spring time!

Chapter 3: The Story of Easter[]

(Courtney and her team were busy setting up the outdoor stage beside the School of Friendship for their Easter play: the story of Jesus Christ’s death and how he has risen again)
Applejack: *hammering the sets together with her tools*
Pinkie Pie: *painting the sets with Rainbow Dash, Zak and Elfilin*
Courtney: The sets are looking good, guys! *to Rarity* How are the costumes coming along, Rarity?
Rarity: *using her sewing machine to make the costumes for the play with Fluttershy helping her out* They’re almost ready, darling.
Courtney: Alright. Just let me know when they’re ready. I’ll go backstage to check in with the stage crew. *goes backstage to see how the others are getting on*
(Marc, Starlight, Spike, and Twilight were testing the spotlights for the play)
Courtney: Are those spotlights ready yet?
Starlight: Almost, Courtney. One of them has a loose bulb. It’ll take us a while to replace it with a new one.
Courtney: Alright. But, we gotta hurry. We need to start rehearsing and we can’t have a play without spotlights. *hurries back out*
Marc Clark: We’re on it, Courtney.
(After the sets were all built and the costumes were all done, it was time for rehearsal)
Courtney: *pulls out the script for the Easter play* Act 1, scene 1 of the Easter play! Action!
(The curtains open to reveal Fluttershy who is going to narrate the story about the resurrection of Jesus Christ)
Fluttershy: Long, long ago in the holy land, there was a man named Jesus Christ who traveled the countryside teaching everyone about God and what he wanted for his people.
(Zak was playing as Jesus Christ and some Thunderbolts members were playing as extras on the set. Zak was acting like Jesus Christ and telling them about his Heavenly Father)
Fluttershy: Many people listened to Jesus and followed him. He also performed many miracles like turning water into wine and helping a man walk again.
(Zak was carrying a prop donkey and pretending that he was riding on it)

Chapter 4: Stella’s first Easter[]

(It was Easter Sunday, the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There were some Easter baskets filled with candy and chocolate for Courtney and her friends. There was also an Easter basket for Stella, the Thunderbolts newest member)
Courtney: *sees all the baskets full of Easter candy and chocolate* Wow! *turns to her friends who just got out of bed* Look, guys! The Easter bunny left us baskets full of candy and chocolate!
Eclipse: Wow! No way!
Little Betty: I wonder if there’s any marshmallow peeps in my basket.
Elfilin: I love the chocolate bunnies the most!
Eclipse: Ditto!
Courtney: I love the Reese’s chocolate peanut butter eggs that are shaped like the Cadbury cream eggs.
Elfilin: Those are good too!
Stella: *shows up* Morning, everyone.
Courtney: Good morning, Stella! Happy Easter!
Stella: I’m confused. What’s Easter?
Eclipse: Well, Stella. It’s to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ. A long, long time ago in the holy land, Jesus went around teaching everyone about Heavenly Father and what he wanted for his people. Not to mention, performing many miracles like turning water into wine and helping a man walk again. When he arrived in the city of Jerusalem, the leaders of the city grew worried, thinking that Jesus was becoming too powerful. So, one night when he was in a garden, praying to his father, some soldiers were sent to arrest him and take him away to prison. Jesus was brought before a wicked judge who sentenced him to death on the wooden cross.
Stella: That’s terrible!
Courtney: It sure is. When Jesus died that day, everyone was so sad and he was put in a tomb which was closed by a big stone. Jesus was in the tomb for two days. On the morning of the third day, the tomb was open and Jesus was gone! Then, an angel appeared to Jesus’ friends and told them that Jesus has risen once more. And then, Jesus rose up into the heavens to be with his Heavenly Father.
Stella: Wow, what a beautiful story!
Courtney: You got that right. And just look at all this candy and chocolate in our Easter baskets! *licks her lips* It looks dum delicious! *about to grab a chocolate bunny out of her basket*
Zak: *stops her* Hold it, Courts!
Weiss: You can’t have it just yet. You haven’t eaten breakfast first.
Courtney: Oh, right. Sorry.
Ruby: It’s okay, sis. *pets her little sister’s head* You can have your Easter candy later on. But, for now, let’s get some breakfast.
Courtney: Okay, Ruby.

Chapter 5: Playing Badminton[]

(Courtney was tossing and catching a shuttlecock while holding a tennis racquet on a tennis court)
Courtney: *sighs happily* There’s nothing like a good old game of badminton on a beautiful spring day. *throws the shuttlecock in the air and starts whacking it back and forth with her tennis racquet*
(Eclipse, Little Betty, Elfilin, and Stella were looking around for Courtney until they noticed her playing badminton all by herself)
Elfilin: Wow! Look at big sis! She’s really whacking the shuttlecock around.
Stella: I agree, Elfilin. She’s a sporting wiz. By the way, what’s that game she’s playing?
Eclipse: It’s called Badminton. It’s a sport that originates from the United Kingdom. The rules of the game are simple. It involves two players hitting the shuttlecock over the net into the other player’s side. Only one stroke is allowed to pass it over the net. One match is made up of three games of 21 points each. The rally ends when the shuttlecock hits the ground, does not return over the net or lands outside of the court lines.
Courtney: *keeps on whacking the shuttlecock around*
Elfilin: Go, big sis! Whack that birdie around!
Stella: Huh?
Eclipse: That’s another name for shuttlecock.
Stella: Oh, right!
Courtney: *keeps on playing until the shuttlecock hits outside the court lines* Aw, darn it! It landed outside the court lines… Game over.
Eclipse: Hey, Courts!
Courtney: Hi, guys! What’s up?
Eclipse: Oh, nothing much. We were just watching you play badminton all by yourself.
Elfilin: And boy, you were really whacking the birdie around!
Courtney: Thanks. In fact, I wondering… Would you guys like to play badminton with me?
Stella: Of course, we would love to play badminton with you.

Chapter 6: The Spring Festival[]

(The Thunderbolts along with Team CRWBY, Van, the sages, the straw hats and the Kamen Rider Club Z were setting everything up for the spring festival like games, food, and many other activities)
Zak: *to Silverstream and Ocellus* Hey, Silverstream, Ocellus! Can you splash some water into this tub, please? It’s for the apple bobbing game.
Ocellus: Sure!
Silverstream: Coming right up! *jumps into the water and transforms into a sea pony along with Ocellus*
(They splash some water as it lands in the tub)
Zak: Thanks, guys!
Silverstream: You’re welcome, Zak! *uses the pearl necklace to transform back into a hippogriff*
Ocellus: *changes back*
(Silverstream and Ocellus help Zak carry the tub of water over to the festival grounds)
Marc Clark: *puts some banana cream pies on the table for the pie eating contest with Pinkie’s help*
Pinkie Pie: *sneaks a taste of one of the pies*
(Meanwhile, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were setting up the "Make a Basket" game)
Scootaloo: *bucks the ball towards the basket and scores* Bullseye!
Rainbow Dash: Nice one, Scootaloo!
(Twilight, Fluttershy, Spike, and Starlight were blowing up balloons for the balloon popping game until Fluttershy ran out of breath as she lets go of the balloon as it flies all over the place)

Chapter 7: Courtney and XR’s Springtime Wedding[]

(It was a big day! Courtney and XR’s wedding was today and they were finally getting married! Courtney was in the dressing room with her big sisters, getting into their dresses for the wedding ceremony. Blake, Yang, and Weiss were Courtney’s bridesmaids and Ruby was Courtney’s maid of honor)
Weiss: Oh, Courtney. You look so beautiful in that dress.
Courtney: *in her wedding dress while looking in the mirror* Thanks, Weiss. I hope I’m ready.
Ruby: Of course you are, sis. You’ve got this.
Yang: You’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. So, there’s no reason to be nervous.
Courtney: Yeah, you’re right. Thanks, Yang.
(Meanwhile, Blake was busy helping the Cutie Mark Crusaders get ready since they were the flower girls)
Apple Bloom: *while Blake is ties her bow on* Ow! Blake, do you have to pull so hard while tyin’ my bow like that?
Blake: Hang on, Apple Bloom. I’m almost done. *finishes tying her bow on* There.
Apple Bloom: Finally. *looks at Courtney with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo* Wow, Courtney!
Sweetie Belle: You look beautiful!
Courtney: So do you three.
Scootaloo: *groans* But, did we have to wear dresses? They’re so itchy.
Weiss: Good thing Rarity didn’t use velvet this time.
Scootaloo: But, aren’t we a little too old to be flower girls? After all, we have our cutie marks now.
Courtney: Maybe, but I couldn’t think of three fillies better suited for the job.
Blake: We’re really happy for you, Courtney.
Courtney: *smiles and blushes as she looks to her left*
Yang: Honestly, Courts. I didn’t think that you would be the first huntress on our team to get married.
(They heard a knock on the door)
Zak: *opens the door in his tuxedo* Hey, Courts! You ready?
Courtney: *nods yes* Uh-huh. I’m ready. *adjusts her veil and grabs her bridal bouquet*
Blake: Here it goes.
Courtney: *goes out with her big sisters and the Cutie Mark Crusaders*
(The wedding ceremony starts as XR comes down and stands right by Princess Celestia who is presiding over the ceremony. The groomsmen walk down the aisle along with Zak who is XR’s best man then the doors open as Ruby, Yang, Weiss and Blake walk down the aisle and the CMC come down after Team CRWBY and start tossing flower petals down the aisle)
Princess Celestia: Everyone, please rise in honor of the bride.
(The guests stand up as Fluttershy starts conducting the songbird choir and Courtney walks down the aisle with the birds holding up her robe)
XR: *whispers* She’s… beautiful…
Zak: *whispers* Easy there, tiger. Save it for the honeymoon.
Courtney: *walking down the aisle*
Mallow: *whispers* Oh, it’s so romantic!
Tsareena: *nods yes, quietly* Tsareena.
Lana: *whispers* Courtney looks very beautiful in that wedding dress…
Primarina: *affirmative, quietly* Prima.
Lillie: *quietly* She looks just like an angel.
Snowy: *quietly* Vul.
Weiss: *starts tearing up and wipes her happy tears off with a handkerchief*
(Courtney finally gets to the end of the aisle and stands right beside XR)
Princess Celestia: *to the guests* You may all be seated.
(The guests sit down)
Princess Celestia: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Princess Courtney Lee Elison-
Courtney: Princess Courtney is fine.
Princess Celestia: *nods yes* The union of Princess Courtney and XR. The strength of their commitment is clear, the power of their love undeniable. Princess Courtney, do you take XR to be your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health until death do you part?
Courtney: I do.
Princess Celestia: And do you XR take Princess Courtney to be your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health until death do you part?
XR: I do!
Princess Celestia: In that case… *to Elfilin who is the ring bearer* May we have the rings please?
Elfilin: *holds up the rings that are on a pillow*
Princess Celestia: *uses her magic to pick up the rings and give them to Courtney and XR*
Courtney: *puts her ring to XR on his middle finger*
XR: *puts his ring on Courtney on her middle finger as well*
Princess Celestia: By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride!
(Courtney and XR kiss each other as everyone cheers for the newly married couple. Even Shadow the Hedgehog smiled a bit after he saw that his apprentice is now married)
Rainbow Dash: *shedding happy tears*
Ruby: *kneels down to Rainbow’s height and whispers* Psst! Rainbow Dash, that’s your cue!
Rainbow Dash: *zooms in the other direction, takes off into the sky and performs a Sonic Rainboom*
(All the wedding guests were in awe of Rainbow Dash’s Sonic Rainboom)
Courtney and XR: *amazed by this*
Rainbow Dash: Best… Wedding… EVER!!
(Later on that day, Courtney and XR were having their first dance together as a newly wedded couple while the song; Beauty and the Beast was playing and everyone was watching the happy couple dance)
Blake: *with happy tears in eyes* Our little sister is all grown up…
Yang: And we’re so proud of her…
Ruby: *frowns a bit*
Weiss: *notices Ruby frowning* Hm?
Yang: Ruby? What’s wrong?
Ruby: *sighs* It’s just… Courtney is now married and… *unaware that Courtney is right next to her* I’m just afraid that I’m losing my little sister forever…
Courtney: *side hugs her big sister* Oh, Ruby… I’ll ALWAYS be your little sister.
XR: Yeah, don’t think of it as losing a sister. Think of it as gaining a new brother-in-law.
Ruby: *giggles while hugging her little sister back* You’re right, XR.
(After having some cake, there was a beautiful royal carriage waiting right outside)
Ruby: *opens the carriage door for the newly wedded couple*
Courtney: This has been the best day of my life! And all of you were amazing bridesmaids. Love you girls.
Ruby: We love you too, little sis. *hugs Courtney along with Yang, Weiss, and Blake*
Yang: Now, go on! Enjoy your honeymoon!
Courtney: *nods yes and gets into the carriage with her husband as she closes the carriage door behind her after pulling her veil in so it doesn’t get stuck in the carriage door*
XR: Ready to go, hon?
Courtney: Oh! I almost forgot! We have to see who the next bride’s going to be! *pokes out of the window and throws her bridal bouquet to see who will catch it*
Rarity: *pushes Megan and the other girls aside* IT’S MINE!!!! *catches it*
Megan Clark: *sternly* Rarity…
Rarity: *chuckles nervously as she levitates the bridal bouquet with her magic*
(The royal carriage rides off)
XR: *sighs in relief and puts his arm around his new wife* Alone at last…
