The Angry Video Game Nerd (portrayed and voiced by James Rolfe) is a video game reviewer of the highest level, he plays video games from the past, and he gets really mad at them because some of them have no original story to the plot. He is one of the only reviewers to have a best arch rival turned best friend, The Nostalgia Critic. In his series, he reviews different games that causes him to become enraged, which gets worse and worse as the game continues. The Angry Video Game Nerd however, did find a game that wasn't terrible, but instead a successful game to play, Spider-Man Maximum Carnage. The Angry Video Game Nerd is also one of many characters famous on the website Cinemassacre.com.
