Tex Richman

Tex Richman (performed by Chris Cooper) is the main antagonist of Jaden and The Muppets (2011). Tex had a plot to tear down the Muppet Theater and drill it for oil. So the Muppets got back together in order to raise the 10 million dollars to save the place. Tex Richman had a strong dislike for the Muppets and was determined so that they wouldn't reach their goal. According to the contract, if they didn't reach the money, then they would also lose their names, and Jaden's Team would have to disband, and they were forbidden from ever seeing each other again. Tex and his henchmen took out the power during the telethon, but the power was restored by Gary and Mary. Tex attempted to cut the antenna, but his own minion Uncle Deadly stopped him. But Tex managed to beat them by knocking down the telephone pole in time. The Muppets failed to reach the money in time, and they were forced to leave the building. But Tex had a change of heart after Gonzo's bowling ball hit Tex in the head, and he laughed for the first time. He gave the Muppets their theater and name back, and canceled Jaden's Adventure Team's restriction.
