Terry McGinnis (voiced by Will Friedle) is the main character of Batman Beyond. He is also the new Batman.
Years in the future, he has succeeded Bruce Wayne as Batman, the protector of Gotham City. He was a bad kid who hung out with the wrong people, but Bruce helped him get a second chance. He became Batman after his father was killed.
Terry was able to avenge his father, but he continued being Batman, so that he can make up for all the bad things he's done in the hope that someday people will see him differently.

Later on, Terry has grown up more, his mentor, Bruce Wayne, needed an organ transplant, looking for help, he found a perfect match, himself, originally, Terry was told that he was a clone of Bruce Wayne, however, when he got older, he was told the real truth revealing that he's really the son of Bruce Wayne, not letting it get to him hard, he used it as a chance to continue on, not only being Bruce Wayne's son, but also as Batman.

- Terry will meet Arik in Arik's Adventures of Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker.
- During his travels, he'll meet his father, but only younger with Arik as a guest star in Arik Meets The Batman vs. Dracula, where he battles with his father to take down Dracula (The Batman vs. Dracula).
- In the Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's timeline of the JGCU, Terry McGinnis will join the Justice Guardians GX.
