Static Shock, also known as Virgil Hawkins, (voiced by Phil LaMarr) is a teenaged superhero who has the power of electricity. Virgil was once an everyday kid with one problem, he always got bullied by a person who became Hotstreak. He almost got into a gang war with other people who got bullied like him. However, Police got and used an untested gas which caused many of the people brawling to pass out, but a few started to gain superpowers, Virgil was one of them. He soon went to see his childhood friend Richie, and helped him to control his, and use it for good. Together, th duo found Virgil the right costume, and thus Virgil Hawkins, became the superhero Static Shock.
