Speedy Gonzales is a Spanish-accented mouse from the Looney Tunes franchise. Speedy is a fast-talking, fast-moving, fast everything Mexican mouse. He is considered a legend by the local Mexican mice and often helps them obtain cheese by outsmarting "that greengo pussycat" Sylvester. Even when Sylvester is only doing his job.
Speedy also has a reputation as a womanizer (says one mouse to another, "Speedy Gonzales friend of my seester." Responds the other mouse, "Speedy Gonzales friend of everybody's seester!") In one cartoon, he steals a kiss from a boy mouse who had been dating his girl for years and was finally about to get his first kiss, and when another mouse is serenading his girlfriend, Speedy steals the rose she drops down for him. This is why SuperjNG18 is not a fan of Speedy, as he feels this is very mean of him to do to other mice he is supposedly the "hero" of.
Speedy was also in a series of cartoons with Daffy Duck. He came off as nicer only because Daffy had become such a jerk, almost to the point of being a full-fledged villain.
