Shinji Ikari (voiced by Spike Spencer) is very timid boy, and the main Progtaonist in Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Origins[]
Shinji was born during an event on his home world called, The Second Impact. This was triggered by the awakening of a flase Elder Giant, now known as Adam. After the event, Shinji lost his mother in an accident, which she was absorbed into a metallic being called the Evangelion, and shortly was left behind by his father. He was alone, and turned into a very timid, and very frightened boy in 11 years. Eventually forced to fight in The War of Angels, and nearly made to ring about the end of the world with the Third Impact. However, what no one really knew was the true culprit was really Lucifer, in disquise. This Impact was actually to consume the world in Darkness, and turn it people into Heartless.
Role in the Adventures[]
Shinji, after losing his home world, and revealed by Lucifer by all this, soon ends up in Traverse Town, a home for those that lost there home world to the Heartless, along with everyone he knew. He stayed there until meeting The Miztyk Knights, and finally help him find the courage to finally aton for his past mistake and journey to defeat Lucifer for good. And joining him, was his sister, Rei Ayanami, his best friends Toji Suzuhara, and Kensuke Aida, Toji's sister Sakura, Hikari Horaki, Mari Illustrious Makinami, Mana Kirishima, and his eventual love intrest, Asuka Langely Shikinami, formally Asuka Langely Soryu. While also learning more about the reasons behind the demise of his home world.
