Shadi (voiced by Wayne Grayson) is a guardian of the tombs of Ancient Egypt and the keeper of the Millennium Key. He gives Maximillion Pegasus the Millennium Eye by force as punishment for entering the tomb of the Pharaoh, but eventually learned he was destined to have the item, eventually met Yugi after Pegasus' item was stolen believing it to be Yugi, Shadi enters his mind, only to be proven wrong, and leaves becoming an ally. Shadi gave information of how The Egyptian God Cards were created and given to Ishizu Ishtar. Shadi is later to be revealed as the Pharaoh's Guardian, Hasan who sacrifices himself to to save the Pharaoh from Zorc before being defeated. Shadi now lives as a ghost who gives advice to people in need.

- Shadi's ghost will appear in the Jeffrey, Jaden, Hiccup & Friends' Storm Adventures series. He'll make a special appearance in a epilogue of Jeffrey, Jaden & Friends' Storm Adventures of Inside Out, where he brings King Mickey a message.
