Saturn is the Roman God of Time. He created the Chrono Tectors and gave the Pallasites First Class their Great Swords. In order to examine humanity, he became a human boy: Subaru. He is the true main antagonist in the second season of Saint Seiya Omega.

- Saturn will become Aaron's enemy in Aaron's Adventure of Saint Seiya.
- In the Roman version of the Titanomachy, Kronos's Roman counterpart, Saturn, escapes the Olympians after the war and establishes the Elysian Fields in the Underworld. Under the authority of Hades (Pluto), Saturn is allowed to reign over the souls of the blessed and the righteous.
- Saturn's name was derived from satu, in Latin means "sowing".
- The Romans identified Saturn with the Greek Cronus, whose myths were adapted for Latin literature and Roman art. In particular, Cronus's role in the genealogy of the Greek gods was transferred to Saturn. And in the (3rd century BC), Jupiter ' Zeus counterpart in Greek myth', was called the son of Saturn.
- Saturn had two consorts who represented different aspects of the god. The name of his wife Ops, the roman equivalent of Greek Rhea, means "wealth, abundance, and resources." The association with Ops and Consus was originally paired.
- The position of Saturn's festival in the Roman calendar led to his association with concepts of time, especially in New Year. In the Greek tradition, Cronus was often conflated with Chronos, "Time", and his devouring of his children taken as an allegory for the passing of generations. The sickle or scythe of Saturn is a remnant of the agricultural implement for Cronus-Saturn, and his aged appearance represents the warning of the old year with the birth of the new. Saturn is also associated with other deities namely Kairos, 'Chronos younger brother', another God of Time.
- Saturn is referred with major religious festival of Harvest and Sowing in the Roman calendar known as Saturnalia, which is celebrated every (December 17 to 23).
