Ryo Bakura (voiced by Ted Lewis) is a friend of Yugi and the owner of the Millennium Ring. He doesn't duel much but has a good amount of info to the game. Bakura got the Millenium Ring from his father from one of his trips when he went to Egypt. After his father came home, Ryo was given the ring as a gift, with his father saying he was destined to have it. Life was never the same, for after Bakura placed the Item around his neck, he soon, got strange pains eventually becoming possessed by an ancient spirit becoming, Yami Bakura. Only after the ring was removed, Bakura was not only able to revert to back to his kind self, but lose his memories of what happened as a result.
