Remy the Rat (voiced by Patton Oswalt) is the main protagonist of Jaden cooks Ratatouille. Unlike most other rats, Remy liked good clean food and had a gift for smell and taste. He wanted to cook, but because he was a rat, humans saw him as a filthy vermin. Until one day, Remy found himself at his idol's resturant, Gusteau's. Remy and the new garbage boy Linguini found a way for them to cook together. Remy hid under his hat and pulled on his hair like a puppet, while Linguini did the cooking outside.
