Princess Fiona (voiced by Cameron Diaz) is the lead female character in the Shrek series. Fiona was placed under a spell where every sunset, she would become an ogress, until her true love would come and kiss her to break the spell. Shrek, Donkey, and Jaden and his team went to get her for Lord Farquaad so that Shrek could get his swamp back, but Farquaad only wanted to marry her to be king. Along the way, Fiona and Shrek started to fall in love with each other. After Fiona's secret was revealed to everyone, Farquaad no longer wanting to marry Fiona ordered his men to attack Shrek and Fiona, until Dragon came in and ate Farquaad. In the end, Fiona and Shrek shared a kiss of true love, and got happily married.
