"With this Crown I make you Queen of Hades. Mighty Hades!" - Pluto
Pluto is the Roman God of The Underworld, and the main antagonist of The Goddess of Spring. He rules the Underworld, with small demons who worship him. However, Pluto was lonely and wanted a companion, so he chose Persephone, The Goddes of Spring, and daughter of Demeter, Goddes of The Harvest, for his Queen, and kidnapped her to rule in Tartarus with him. But after Persephone was taken, the world above soon completely froze over. While in Tartarus, Pluto only wanted to make Persephone happy, so Pluto was asked by her to be released, so she can bring life back to the surface. Pluto agreed to do so, but on one condition, she must return to spend six months in Tartarus, if released. Persephone agreed, and was allowed to retunred to the surface, thus bringing forth the four seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall (Autum), and Winter.
