The Phantom Blot is the main antagonist in Epic Mickey. He is created by King Mickey Mouse by accident when his mess with Yed Sid's model of a world for forgotten toons. He is made entirely out of Paint Thinner, which makes him extremely dangerous. Years later after Mickey became a popular star, the Phantom Blot drags Mickey to the world which is now called The Wasteland. He created minions called Blotlings to try to stop Mickey and Oswald, but that failed. He soon escapes from a large Paint Thinner bottle after Mickey confessed to Oswald that he's responsible for creating the Phantom Blot and causing the Thinner Disaster. But in order to completely escape The Wasteland, he'll need a heart, namely Mickey's heart. The Phantom Blot nearly succeed in destroying The Wasteland and escaping to the real world, but is later destroyed by Mickey and Oswald using fireworks inside him.

- The Phantom Blot also appear in House of Mouse who steal colors to become The Phantom Rainbow, but that plan is foiled by Mickey, Donald and Goofy.
- Some say a few blots of The Phantom Blot survives the fireworks and he's slowly reforming himself he get his revenge on Mickey and Oswald.
- The Phantom Blot will become Jeffrey's enemy in Jeffrey, Pooh & Friends' Storm Adventures of Wild Wild West.
