Octavia is a dalmatian puppy and one of Patch's nieces. When one of his 98 siblings eventually grew up and moved to Transylvania, she gave birth to three puppies (with Octavia being the youngest). While exploring an old castle with her brothers, Octavia had an encounter with a vampire bat who bit her. The resulting bite caused Octavia to become a vampire herself. Now she has inherited many vampiric abilities, including sprouting bat wings. She wears a special magical charm on her collar that prevents her from being hurt by the sun.
