Nyx is a young alicorn filly and the main protagonist in the fanfiction story, Past Sins by Penstroke. She is a young filly who was found by Twilight Sparkle and raised by her. Twilight made off Nyx as her cousin, but she felt more for her as her own daughter. Nyx also became friends with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle. Nyx eventually realized after being tricked by Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon into going into the Everfree Forest, and remembered that she was the evil of Princess Luna, Nightmare Moon. However, being with Twilight and had changed for the better, even after taking over, and renouncing her role as Queen of Equestria. She was punished by being stripped of all the powers that once belonged to Luna, and was allowed to live with Twilight.
