Norman Babcock (Voiced by Kodi Smit-McPee) Is the main hero in the film, Paranorman.
Norman was born with an ability to see and talk to ghosts, which makes him an outcast both at home and at school. The only people who understands him his his mother, grandmother and his best friend Neil. One day, he was visited by his dead relative who gives him a warning about the Witches Curse, a patch made by a witch who cursed the ones who sentence her to be hanged as the undead 200 years later and have a way to stop it. He told Norman of a book that'll calm the witch. What Norman found was a Fairy Tale book which he read every year to prevent the witch from rising. Norman also learn that the 'Witch' was actually a little girl named Aggie Prenderghast, Norman's distance cousin. Shocked by the truth, Norman explain to the zombies, the ones who ordered her death to begin with of why they do it. They explained they were scared cause they fear of what they don't understand. With the help of his family and friends, Norman confront Aggie and mange to calm her centuries of rage, allowing her and the zombies to past into the afterlife. Afterword, he is praised as the town hero and get respected by his family and the town.
