Mr. Snuffleupagus a.k.a. "Snuffy" (currently performed by Martin P. Robinson) is a character on Sesame Street. He is has the apperance of a woolly mammoth without visible ears and tusks. He is Big Bird's best friend. At first, Snuffy was thought to be Big Bird's imaginary friend, but that was because everyone kept missing chances to see him. This continued until Big Bird orchestrated a plan to have the adults finally see him, and it worked. Now everyone knows that Snuffy is real.

Trivia

Jaden will first meet Snuffy in Jaden's Adventures of Don't Eat the Pictures, and be the first person other than Big Bird to actually see him.
Jeffrey will first meet Snuffy in Jeffrey & Friends' Storm Adventures of Don't Eat the Pictures.
Snuffy will return in Jeffrey, Jaden & Friends' Storm Adventures of Follow That Bird.
Snuffy is Lily Yuki's second favorite Sesame Street character.
