Maximillion Pegasus (voiced by Darren Dunstan) is the creator of Duel Monsters and the main antagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 1. His reason for wanting The Millennium Items was to bring back his wife Cecelia, however, he lost against Yugi, and then Yami Bakura, losing his Millennium Eye. He wasn't seen again until Season 4, and then Season 5.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Pegasus made several appearances and served as an ally to Jaden. Even took on Dr. Crowler and Mr. Bonaparte, and winning.
Pegasus's Deck is mostly filled with Toon Monsters, mainly due to his childhood growing up, he made a series of cards based of them for himself. His Ace Monster however, isn't a Toon, but a creature called Relinquished, which can become Thousand Eyes Restrict when merged with Thousand Eyes Idol.

- Darkblade actually understood his reasons and found forgiveness, and even used his power to bring back his wife Cecelia for him.
- Pegasus will appear in Jeffrey, Jaden & Friends' Storm Adventures of National Treasure.
