Matthias (voiced by Tyrone Savage ) is a young mouse who lived in the famous Redwall Abby, who dreamed of becoming a warrior like Martin the Warrior. He got his chance when Cluny the Scourge, who burned Matthias old home and killed his family when he was little, threaten to take Redwall. WIth the help of his friends, Matthias was able to obtained Martin's sword and armor to defeat his family's killer. He's also Cornflower's boyfriend and later, husband.

He soon have a son named Mattimeo who, along with he friends was captured by Slagar the Cruel. Matthias with help from old and new freinds, follow Slagar's trail to an old ruin and freed his son along with his friends.
