Maria Robotnik (Voiced by Lisa Ortiz) is the granddaughter of Pro. Gerald Robotnik and cousin of Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Maria is part of the Space Colony ARK cause she was diagnosed with a deadly disease known as Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome or NIDS. Her grandfather created Shadow the Hedgehog in order to cure her illness. In time, Shadow and Maria became friends, but is soon came to a stop when G.U.N. shut down the ARK and send commandos to kill any and all members of the station. Maria help Shadow escape, but ended up as one of the many casualties of the station.
