Makunga

Makunga (voiced by Alec Baldwin) is the main antagonist of Madagascar 2. He is Zuba's rival who has tried for many years to take his place as the Alpha Lion, but has constantly been beaten. But when Zuba's son Alex returned to Africa, Makunga tricked Alex during the Rite of Passage so that he'd get beaten, forcing Zuba to give up his position as Alpha Lion. Makunga took over, but not until a old human lady beat him up, and dragged him off for taking her hand bag.
