"Thank You Stranger." - Maiden of The Aqua
Maiden of The Aqua (voiced by Liza Jacqueline) is a character in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. She is based off the card she was created from. Maiden of The Aqua was searching for a hero who would stand up to The Supreme King, when she ran into Syrus while hiding from some of The Supreme King's forces, Syrus helped her, and pointed her towards Axel Brodie. She found him, but was shunned because of Axel still being scared of The Supreme King. However, The Maiden was then chased by some Elite Goblins with a pack of wild fire covered foxes, and was about to be captured until Axel saved her, and she gave Axel his duel disk and helped him defeat the hunters. She tried to comfort him, and thank him for saving her, but sadly went back to her village, after Axel wouldn't listen. When Axel came to her village, and fought Skull Knight, and beat him in a duel, however, the village was without a leader, and turned to Axel for help, and agreed. She then went with Ancient Fairy to find Jesse Anderson. Eventually entering the united universe separated from her homeworld, and began her own quest to find a friend.
Effect[]
Maiden of The Aqua has the ability to treat the field as Umi, but can't provide a field power bonus. Her attack is 700, and her defense is 2000.

- Maiden of the Aqua is mentioned in Jeffrey, Jaden & Friends' Storm Adventures of Small Soldiers. Axel mistakes Aqua to be the the Maiden.
- Eventually Maiden of the Aqua becomes a Duel Spirit and partner for a certain Duelist.
