Kari (voiced by Lara Jill Miller) is Tai's little sister in the Digimon franchise. She is the 8th Digi-Destined who embodies the trait of Crest of Light. Myotismon went into the human world to look for Kari and destroy her. When the city was under attack, Kari turned herself in so that no one would be hurt. During the fight against Myotismon, Kari recieved her Digivice and Crest. After Wizardmon sacrificed himself to save Kari and Gatomon. This caused Kari's Digivice and Crest to glow, causing Gatomon to digivolve into Angewomon and defeat Myotismon.

Gatomon (voiced Edie Mirman) is Kari's Digimon partner. She was one of Myotismon's henchmen who worked for him to get some answers on who she is. When she arrived into the human world, she felt a bond between Kari and her, and finally knew who she was. During the fight against, after Wizardmon sacrificed himself to save Kari and Gatomon. This caused Kari's Digivice and Crest to glow, causing Gatomon to digivolve into Angewomon and defeat Myotismon.
