Jewel (voiced by Anne Hathaway) is the deuteragonist of Jaden goes to Rio. She was the last female of her species, and was supposed to mate with Blu to save their species. But Blu and Jewel were way to different from each other. Jewel was flightful and free-spirited, and Blu thought with his head, and was flightless. But after being captured by poachers and Nigel, spending more time with Blu, and with the advice from Jaden, his friends, and Rafael, she finally learned to love Blu.
