Dr. Eggman (voiced by Edwin Neal, performed by Jim Carrey) is the main antagonist in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. He uses his inventions to try to destroy Sonic the Hedgehog and take over the world. He was after the Chaos Emeralds for several reasons. To feed a monster called Chaos, to power some of his machines (incuding the Space Colony ARK), and to travel to different dimensions. Dr. Eggman was once known as Dr. Julien Kintobor, however, after obtaining The Chaos Emeralds, he became, Dr. Robotnik. However after Sonic messed up an experiment in transforming himself into a more powerful scientist, he was reshaped into become who he is now, as Dr. Eggman, leader of The Eggman Empire.

- Dr. Eggman becomes Juniper Lee's enemy in the eighth episode of the Juniper Lee's Adventures Series titled Super Smash Sister. he is one of the many video game villains who help rebuild Metal Sonic.
- Eggman will appear again in Jaden meets Wreck-It Ralph.
- Eggman will become Twilight's enemy in Twilight meets Sonic the Hedgehog (2020).
