Doctor Strange (alias Stephen Vincent Strange) (performed by Benedict Cumberbatch) was once a proud brain surgeon in a hospital. But his life was forever changed when he was in a car crash. He survived, but his nerves on his hands were damaged, ending his career as a surgeon. He tried to seek help from surgeons, but they all turned him down, eventually draining all of his money. With nothing left to live for, he tried to commit suicide, but was saved by Wong, one of the Ancient One's students. He explain to him to travel to Tibet in order to find what he's looking for. Strange traveled to Tibet and meet the Ancient One. He explain to Strange that he'll be trained in the mystical ways in order for his hands to heal. After months of training, he became known as "Sorcerer Supreme".
