Demyx describing himself to Larxene
Demyx (voiced by Ryan O'Donohue) is a Nobody and a member of Organization XIII ranked Number IX. A major antagonist in Kingdom Hearts II, Demyx's precise origins are unknown. However, it is known that he was originally a human before becoming a Nobody. After becoming a Nobody, Demyx joined Organization XIII, a group of powerful Nobodies bent on creating Kingdom Hearts and restoring their original natures. Demyx, along with the rest of the Organization, became enemies with Sora and the other heroes of the light. Demyx's title, The Melodious Nocturne, fits him well as he is notorious for being the laziest member of the Organization. He is also extremely cowardly, preferring to avoid fights. However, when push comes to shove, Demyx can be quite dangerous. Demyx's primary weapon is a sitar and he controls water.
