Dawn (voiced by Emily Jenness) is a friend of Ash in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Her dream is to be the best Pokemon Coordinator she can be. Her starter Pokemon is a Piplup. Her other Pokemon are Buneary, Pachirisu, Mamoswine, Quilava and Togekiss. She also has a Ambipom who is currently with another trainer. Dawn is one of Ash's best friends, along with May, Max, Misty, Brock, & Ash's childhood friend, Jaden. Dawn's nickname is "Dee Dee", mainly due to her childhood when a Plusle and Minun's static caused her hair to go upward, & sparkle with a static electric charge.
