Prologue: Broken Scepter[]

(It was a beautiful day at the palace as Skylar was on the balcony with Courtney, Elfilin, and Elena)
Skylar: Ahh! You hear that, princesa? That’s the sound of peace and quiet now that Shuriki’s gone for good.
Elena: Yeah, but Victor and Carla are still out there, and we have no idea where.
Skylar: Can’t you just, I don’t know, find them with your scepter?
Elena: I tried, but it’s been acting up ever since Shuriki zapped it. *points her Scepter* Glow!
(The Scepter zaps and starts acting up)
Mateo: Whoa! What was that?
Skylar: The princesa’s scepter is broken.
Courtney: Yeah, it’s been acting up ever since Shuriki zapped it with the Scepter of Night.
Elena: What if someone attacks the kingdom? How will I protect Avalor? Glow! Blaze! Anything! *to Mateo* Can you fix it?
Mateo: That’s an ancient Maruvian scepter. I wouldn’t know where to start. But… an ancient sunbird might.
Elena: *gasps* Quita Moz! Great idea! *gets on Skylar* Let’s go to Vallestrella.
Skylar: You got it, princesa!
Courtney: Can we come too, Elena? Elfilin and I wanna go pick some Anoki berries and try some new recipes!
Elfilin: Yeah, please?
Elena: Okay, you two. Climb aboard.
(They get on Skylar and he flies to the gateway to Vallestrella)
Mateo: Good luck!

Cruz and Vestia save Courtney and Elfilin[]

(Courtney and Elfilin were running from the fires in the jungle while they were out picking some Anoki berries)
Courtney: Come on, Elfilin! Follow me and keep your head down! Don’t breathe in the smoke!
Elfilin: Okay! *follows Courtney*
(Cruz and Vestia see Courtney and Elfilin running from the fires)
Vestia: I just thought of another big plan. What if we save the little mutt and her little brother to earn the Thunderbolts’ trust?
Cruz: And they might forgive us just like Elena.
(Courtney and Elfilin were running until they stopped on an edge)
Elfilin: *sees some fire underneath him and screams as he flies to the other side but tumbles down and rocks fall on top of him*
Courtney: Elfilin! *goes down to help her little brother*
Elfilin: *gets out of the rocks and shakes himself off*
Courtney: *helps Elfilin out of the rocks and keeps running from the flames with Elfilin* Come on!
Elfilin: *screams as he sees more flames* Courtney!
Courtney: *turns the other way around with Elfilin and runs for it*
(There were flames all around them)
Elfilin: *screams* We’re trapped!
(Suddenly, Cruz and Vestia come to the rescue!)
Cruz: Hang on, kiddos! We gotcha! *picks up Elfilin with his mouth*
Vestia: *picks up Courtney with her mouth*
(They fly them both to safety on the highest ledge, away from the smoke and flames)
Vestia: *puts Courtney down, gently*
Courtney: *sighs in relief* Thank you. You saved our lives.
Cruz: *puts Elfilin down as well*
Elfilin: Courtney! *flies over to her*
Courtney: *rushes over to her little brother* Are you alright, Elfilin?
Elfilin: I’m okay, big sister.

More than Your Magic[]

Courtney and Elfilin stand up for Cruz and Vestia[]

(Inside the palace, there was fire all over the place while some jaquins put out the flames and the other jaquins were flying out of the palace)
King Verago: Everyone, exit in an orderly fashion.
Elena: Where’s the anchimon?
King Verago: He keeps moving around, setting fires. I am afraid it is too late to save the palace.
Cruz: It can’t be! Oh, there’s gotta be some way to stop Chatana.
Elena: Chatana? I thought it was an anchimon.
Vestia: But, Chatana’s his name. He kept saying it over and over.
King Verago: That is odd. *gestures to an etching of a winged woman* Chatana was a winged sorceress who used her magic to conjure terrible beasts.
Courtney: *with Elfilin* Like that anchimon we saw?
King Verago: Exactly. Our ancestors banished her and her minions.
Skylar: Well, it looks like they left a straggler.
Elena: Who Quita Moz caught and put in the jar.
Cruz: *scratches his ear with his hind leg* So why does the anchimon keep saying “Chatana”?
Vestia: ‘Cause he’s looking for his creator. *gestures to the etching of Chatana*
Cruz: Oh...
Elena: *gets an idea* If he’s looking for Chatana, let’s give him Chatana.
King Verago: What do you mean?
Elena: I have an idea, but I’ll need help.
Vestia: Count us in!
King Verago: You two?
Cruz: Well, it’s our fault that thing is loose. We’ll do whatever it takes to catch it.
King Verago: How do I know you will not try to escape?
Vestia: Give us the chance to prove it. Please.
Courtney: *flies in front of King Verago with Elfilin* Please, King Verago. Let them go, they’re really sorry.
Elfilin: Yeah. Please give them another chance. They saved us from the fire.
King Verago: *to Cruz and Vestia* Is this true?
(Cruz and Vestia nod yes)
Elena: We need all the help we can get.
(King Verago unsheathes his claws and cuts the ropes off Cruz and Vestia)

Epilogue: Courtney and Elfilin’s gift to Cruz and Vestia[]

(Courtney and Elfilin find Cruz and Vestia who were done helping the king’s guard in putting out the fires)
Courtney: Hi, Cruz! Hi, Vestia!
Cruz: Hey, kiddos.
Vestia: What are you doing here?
Elfilin: We have something for you.
(They open the bag and pour some Anoki berries out)
Cruz: Anoki berries?!
Vestia: For us?
Courtney: Yeah, it’s our “thank you” for saving us from those fires.
Cruz: Wow... I just don’t know what to say... Thanks.
Vestia: Yeah, thank you.
Cruz: *gives some Anoki berries to Courtney and Elfilin* Here. This is our “thank you” for standing up for us.
Courtney: No problem, Cruz and Vestia. Everyone deserves a second chance. Now, let’s dig in!
(They have some Anoki berries)
Courtney: *has some Anoki berry juice on her face* Scooby Dooby Doo!! *licks the juice off her face*
