• (Courtney was at the docks with her family, seeing all the new students coming in from the fairy winged boats until she saw Sophia all confused by this)
• Courtney: Oh… *goes over to the side of the boat at the end of the dock, to Sophia* Hello!
• Sophia: *shocked by the fact that Courtney can talk and hides*
• Courtney: I’m sorry. *her ears drop back* I didn’t mean to scare you.
• Sophia: *peeks her head out and stands up to recollect herself* No, it’s okay. It’s just… I’ve never seen a talking dog before. Who are you? Or better yet, what are you?
• Courtney: Oh! I’m a princess.
• Sophia: *tilts her head*
• Courtney: Leader of the Thunderbolts? A member of the Paw Patrol? Sage of Nature? A Kamen Rider? An honorary guardian of Avalor?
• Sophia: *tilts her head a second time*
• Courtney: A huntress?
• Sophia: That’s a lot of titles for such a small dog.
• Courtney: I’m Courtney Elison. But, you can call me Courtney. And may I ask what your name is?
• Sophia: Sophia.
• Courtney: *holds out her paw for a handshake* Nice to meet you, Sophia.
• Sophia: *hesitates and then shakes her paw*
• Zak: Courtney! *goes over to her* You shouldn’t be wandering off like that. You’ll get lost.
• Courtney: Sorry, Zak. I just wanted to make some new friends like Sophia here.
• Zak: *pets her on the back* I know. But, you shouldn’t worry us like that. *to Sophia* I am so sorry. My little sister intends to run off sometimes.
• Sophia: No, it’s okay. And it’s strange that you have a dog for a little sister.

Meeting Ava

• ???: *holds out her hand to Sophia* Ooh, I love your shirt!
• Sophia: *grabs her hand as the girl helps her up*
• ???: Purple is one of my 19 favorite colors.
• Sophia: Uh…
• Ava: I’m Ava. *hugs Sophia* It’s SO nice to meet you.
• Sophia: Um, okay. I’m Sophia.
• Courtney: And I’m Courtney. Princess Courtney Elison. But, you can call me Courtney. *gestures to her team* And this is my team, the Thunderbolts.

The Sapphire Dorm

• (The Thunderbolts along with Sophia, Ava, and Rory head to the Sapphire Dorm and they were amazed by it)
• Sophia: I could live here.
• Rory: Nice. I hope my room’s near the fridge.
• Ava: *goes up the stairs with Sophia and Courtney* The energy in this room is amazing! *notices Valentina*
• Valentina: *notices Sophia, Ava, and Courtney*
• Courtney: *to Valentina in a friendly way* Hello!
• Sophia: *rolls her eyes* Ugh. How’s the energy now?
• Valentina: *sarcastically* Great. This’ll be fun.
• (The dwerpins carry Valentina’s luggage to her room as a girl with a box full of books comes in)
• ???: I need a library, stat! *falls over as she drops her books*
• (Sophia, Ava, and Courtney help her pick up the books she dropped)
• ???: I knew something was up when I got an invitation for a riding academy and I’ve never been on a horse in my life. I had a hunch this was some sort of elite secret school, I was thinking a scientific government thing. Code-breaking, rocket building. But, unicorns and magic? Mind blown!
• Sophia: Phew. Glad I’m not the only one.
• Ava: I’m Ava. *gestures to Sophia* This is Sophia.
• Courtney: And I’m Courtney. Princess Courtney Elison, but you can call me Courtney.
• Layla: *waves* I’m Layla.
• Courtney: Hi, Layla. Nice to meet you. My friend; Twilight would simply love to hang out with you. She’s a bookworm too.

What are Alicorns?

• Courtney: Wow… Who knew that there were a lot of baddies here on Unicorn Island…
• (Unknown to Courtney, her Mark of the Guard starts glowing and she unintentionally transforms into an alicorn which surprises Sophia, Ava, and Layla)
• Ava: Whoa…
• Courtney: *tilts her head in confusion* Uh, are you guys okay? Do I have something on my face?
• Sophia: No, it’s just that… You have wings and a horn.
• Courtney: *looks at herself and notices that her alicorn magic has activated* Oh, that. It’s just my alicorn magic.
• Sophia: Alicorn?
• Ava: What’s an alicorn?
• Layla: First I’ve heard of it but I’ve never seen one in any of my books or in the Sparklebook.
• Courtney: *rubs the back of her head a bit* I guess I have some explaining to do. Alicorns are very special creatures. They’re half unicorn, half pegasus. Which means they have the capabilities of flight and magic. And even though I’m a legendary golden retriever, I have my mother’s alicorn magic flowing through my veins.
• Layla: *observes her alicorn magic* So, you’re some sort of hybrid? How is that even possible?
• Courtney: That’s a story I’d like to call "The Ballad of Celestia and Rover".

Courtney to the rescue!/Sophia and Wildstar bond

• (Suddenly, a chomp was heard!)
• Ash: …! *screams in pain as he looks down to see Courtney*
• Courtney: *biting his ankle*
• Sophia: Courtney!
• Courtney: I’ve got your back, Sophia! *feels something or someone small tugging on her ear* …?!
• Crimsette: Oh no you don’t, puppy!
• Courtney: That all you got, Tinker Bell? *throws her off her ear as she hits the wall*
• (Ash body slams Courtney as Sophia gasps in horror but she uses her super strength to lift him up)
• Courtney: You messed with the wrong pup! *spins him around and throws him into Crimsette as she dusts her hands off*
• Sophia: *amazed by how Courtney fought Ash and Crimsette* Whoa… How did you…?
• Courtney: Looks like Ravenzella’s cronies didn’t expect me! *back punches Ash really hard in the face, knocking him out after he tried to surprise attack her*
• Ravenzella: Just what I’d expect from Princess Celestia’s daughter.
• Courtney: Listen up, Ravenzella! You’re not getting anywhere near those unicorns! And we will not let anyone or any… villain hurt them ever again!! *activates her alicorn magic*
• Ravenzella: *chuckles evilly* An alicorn? How cute! *fires her magic at Sophia*
• Sophia: No!
• Courtney: Sophia! *uses her magic to shield her*
• Wildstar: *pushes both Courtney and Sophia out of the way after breaking the chain off her ankle and gets hit by Ravenzella’s grim magic, saving both Courtney and Sophia*
• Fernakus: *gasps*
• Sophia: Wildstar…
• Wildstar: *groans*
• Courtney: *clenches her fists after seeing this and turns to face Ravenzella and her cronies, angrily* Now, you’ve done it!! You guys messed with the bull! Now, here come the horns!! *charges towards them*
• Sophia: Courtney!
• Ash: *punches Courtney back, hard*
• Courtney: *barks in pain after hitting the wall and falls in front of Sophia*

Courtney arrests Fernakus

• Ava: *sees a planter moving* Am I crazy or does that planter have legs?
• (Fernakus bumps into Wildstar and drops the planter as it hits him on the head and breaks after hitting the ground)
• Sophia: What a delightfully dreamy day.
• Fernakus: Yes, indeed. *laughs awkwardly*
• Courtney: *glares angrily at him* Fernakus, by the power vested in me as princess and as a huntress… *gets out her scroll and shows her huntsmen license* I hereby place you under arrest for treason, student endangerment, and kidnapping Wildstar! You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law!
• Ms. Primrose: *snaps her fingers as two dwerpins rush over Fernakus*
• Fernakus: *walks away, nervously* W-well done, unicorn riders. I knew you could do it!
• (They seize Fernakus and take him away)
• Everyone: *laughs*
• Ms. Primrose: I must say, the freshmen class shows a great deal of potential. Well done.
• Sophia: *smiles*
• Ms. Furi: Just remember, we have rules here at Unicorn Academy. You broke several. And in the future, that will not be tolerated. *leaves*
• Courtney: *her ears drop down* Yes, Ms. Furi…
