These are side stories of Courtney's Adventures of Sonic X.

Chapter 1: The Curious Cat’s attack!

• (Courtney was napping on the couch at Chris’ house when all of a sudden she sees a news report!)
• Scarlet Garcia: We interrupt this program to bring you a special report!
• Courtney: *wakes up after hearing this* Huh?
• Scarlet Garcia: A mysterious cat is terrorizing the city! The Station Square City Police are ordering all the citizens to stay indoors at all times until all matters are resolved.
• (The news report shows the police trying to fight the Curious Cat!)
• Scarlet Garcia: This is Scarlet Garcia, SSTV News.
• Courtney: *gasps in horror* The Curious Cat! How did they get here?! *growls angrily* I have to stop them! *packs her gear and activates her alicorn magic to fly over to Station Square after leaving a note for Sonic and his friends including her team to explain why she left*
• (After Courtney has flown off to stop the Curious Cat from destroying Station Square, Sonic and his friends came into the room to see the note that Courtney had left behind on the couch)
• Tails: What’s this? *picks up the note* It’s a note from Courtney! *gives the note to Sonic*
• Sonic: *looks at the note*
• Amy: What does it say?
• Chris: *reads the note* "Dear, Friends. I’m sorry to rush off…"
• Courtney: *voiceover* But, there’s been an emergency down at Station Square. The Curious Cat is currently attacking the city. Don’t come after me, it’s too dangerous. This is my fight, not yours. And I don’t risk losing any of you guys to that mangy feline. Tell my brother and my team that I’m sorry… Sincerely yours, Courtney.
• Sonic: We gotta go help her! She won’t stand a chance against that cat!
• Tails: I’ll fire up the X Tornado!
• Sonic: *nods yes to Tails*
• (Meanwhile, Courtney was fighting off the Curious Cat after she ordered the police to stand down. She was badly injured from the fight with the cat after her aura was shattered. She had scratches all over her body and there was a bloody bite mark on her neck indicating that the cat bit her)
• Courtney: *puts her paw on her neck to stop the bleeding and pants heavily*
• Curious Cat: Had enough, little princess?
• Courtney: That was nothing! I’m just getting warmed up! *fires a magic beam at the cat*
• Curious Cat: *unleashes a roaring beam to counter attack*
• (The two beams clash causing an explosion and smoke covers the area)
• Courtney: Where are you, you mangy feline?! Show yourself, you coward!
• (Suddenly, Courtney gets punched in the chest and knocked back as the smoke clears up to reveal that the Curious Cat has transformed into the Furious Cat!)
• Furious Cat: Coward? You’re one to talk!
• Courtney: *struggles to get up despite being injured*
• Furious Cat: This is where I end you! Give my regards to Alyx! *has their claws ready to strike her down*
• (Before the cat could kill her, a blue ball runs into the Furious Cat knocking them back. It was Sonic who saved her!)
• Sonic: Sorry, kitty cat! No one’s striking my friend down!
• Courtney: Sonic! What are you doing here?! I told you to not come after me!
• Sonic: And miss out on a party like this? No way!
• Furious Cat: *hisses at Sonic after getting up as they approach him*
• Tails: *flies in on the X Tornado with Chris* Sonic! *launches a power ring to Sonic as he catches it*
• Sonic: *uses his spin dash attack after the ring enhanced his speed towards the Furious Cat*
• (Tails lands the X Tornado on the ground as he and Chris get out and run over to Courtney who was struggling to get up)
• Tails: Courtney!
• Courtney: Chris! Tails!
• Chris: *helps her up* Courtney, are you okay?
• Courtney: *winces* No…
• Tails: Man, you look pretty beat up!
• Courtney: *grunts in pain while holding the bloody bite mark on her neck to stop the bleeding*
• Chris: Let’s get you back to the house.
• Courtney: Chris, no! *turns to see Sonic dealing with the Curious Cat by himself* Sonic!
• (Sonic was busy distracting the cat while Chris and Tails help Courtney)
• Sonic: Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!
• Furious Cat: *fires a roaring beam at Sonic but he dodges quickly*
• Tails: Don’t worry, Courtney. Sonic will be fine, I promise. *runs back over to the X Tornado*
• Chris: *follows Tails while carrying Courtney*
• Sonic: Sorry, kitty cat! It was nice playing with you but I gotta run! See ya! *runs off*
• (The cat transforms back into their normal form and watches Sonic and his friends escape with Courtney in tow. Back at Chris’ house, Amy was busy bandaging up Courtney’s injuries)
• Amy: There you go, Courtney.
• Courtney: Thanks, Amy. I- *suddenly feels a sharp pain from the bite mark that was bandaged* Ouch! *holds it in pain* Ooh… Man, that cat really bit me hard… Takes me back to my adventure in the Ever After…
• (Sonic, Tails, Cream, Cheese, and Chris come into the room)
• Cream: Courtney, are you okay?
• Courtney: Don’t worry, Cream. I’ll be fine. I promise.
• Chris: Courtney, you have some explaining to do. Why did you go off by yourself without us or your team?
• Courtney: It’s like I said before in my note. I don’t wanna risk losing any of you to the Curious Cat and this isn’t your fight. It’s mine.
• Tails: Yeah, but you almost got killed. And you still haven’t told us about that cat.
• Sonic: Yeah, what is the deal between you and that cat?
• Courtney: The Curious Cat is a creature from the Ever After. They’re the reason why my big sister; Ruby was worn down emotionally and was almost possessed by them. They were created by the Brothers to help fix the broken parts of the Ever After but they changed into a dangerous monster. *growls angrily and stares at the floor* They really make my blood boil!!
• Chris: How? How did they change into a dangerous monster?
• Courtney: It’s because a girl named Alyx broke her promise to them that she would take them back to Remnant with her. But, in truth, she had no intention of taking them. After talking to the Great Tree, she had a sudden crisis of conscience. Deciding that she wanted to fix everything that she had broken in the Ever After including my friend; Jaune Arc. And so, her brother; Lewis went back to Remnant while she stayed behind to atone for her mistakes. That’s when the Curious Cat killed her for her betrayal. And that small act of dishonesty caused the cat undergo a dark change which drove them deeper into insanity that made them even more dangerous.
• Tails: So, that’s why you were so angry at the cat. Because they tried to possess your big sister. But, why did they try to possess her?
• Courtney: It’s because they wanted to go to Remnant to find out why their makers left them in the Ever After. But, I managed to stop them from possessing her but I was badly injured in the process while trying to protect her. I still get flashbacks or nightmares from that horrible day… *her paw shakes uncontrollably due to her post traumatic stress disorder and she grabs it to stop it from shaking* They can do this to someone else one day. I can’t risk that happening… Heck, they almost tried to possess me when they were a ghost. *rubs her chest* The way they phased their paws into my chest, it hurt like the devil.
• Cream: Are you sure that’s what happened?
• Courtney: Oh, I’m sure that’s what happened. The second time they came back after being revived by Big Mom, captain of the Big Mom Pirates and one of the enemies of the Straw Hat Pirates. They wanted to get revenge on me and my big sisters for defeating them at the Great Tree and foiling their plan to escape from the Ever After. *scoffs as she looks down* I told them that they weren’t meant to go to Remnant.
• Tails: Is that all?
• Courtney: Hm, pretty much.

Chapter 3: Halloween!

• (It was Halloween and Ruby Rose’s birthday! The Thorndyke house was decorated with fun Halloween decorations)
• Courtney: *dressed as a witch but she only had a mini hat and a cloak* I can believe it’s finally Halloween and my big sister’s birthday! I feel like singing a song!
• (The song; I Wanna Scare Myself from Boo to You Too, Winnie the Pooh plays)
• Courtney: *jumps on the pumpkin decoration, balances on it and rolls on it as she sings* Oh, I love surprises and wearing disguises. A horribly hideous costume will do. Better be weary. Be spooky and scary. I’ll bounce from the shadows and boo! *gets caught on some hanging decorations and gets launched across the room* Whoa! *hits the wall* Oof! *had stars swirling around her head* Ow…
• Amy: *comes in after hearing that crash and sees Courtney holding her head in pain* Courtney! Are you alright?
• Courtney: Just peachy, Amy. *gets up and shakes herself off* By the way, where’s Cream and Cheese?
• Amy: Oh, they’re in the kitchen helping Ella make Candy Apples.
• Courtney: Cool! Well, I love to stay and chat but I need to find a birthday present for my big sister. I’ll be back soon! I promise! *activates her alicorn magic and flies off to Station Square to see what she can give Ruby for her birthday*
• (When Courtney got to the city, she was looking in the store windows to see what she could get for Ruby)
• Courtney: Now, let’s see… What would Ruby like for her birthday? *thinks* Hmm… *suddenly senses something and heads over to the park as she sees a red glow in the dirt!* Is that what I think it is…? *runs over to the glow and digs into the dirt to see that it was a chaos emerald! And red one to be exact!* A chaos emerald! *grabs it out of the dirt* Wow, what a stroke of luck! Way better than buying a present! *hears a evil laugh as she turns around to see Dr. Eggman in his flying vehicle* Dr. Eggman!
• Dr. Eggman: Thank you for finding that emerald for me, princess. Now, if you could be so kind as to give it to me.
• Courtney: *holds onto the chaos emerald, tightly* No! You can’t have it! It’s a birthday present for my big sister! *runs off with the chaos emerald in her mouth*
• (Dr. Eggman follows her in hot pursuit but she uses her magic to teleport back to Chris’ house but she only teleported herself to Angel Island, home of Knuckles the guardian of the Master Emerald)
• Courtney: *drops the chaos emerald into her paw and looks at it* Phew… That was close… At least I managed to get away from Eggman…
• Knuckles: Courtney? What are you doing here?
• Courtney: *sees her Echidna friend* Knuckles! I’m so glad to see you. You see, I was trying to find a birthday present for Ruby when I found this chaos emerald in the park. Then, Eggman showed up and told me hand over the emerald but I refused because I wanted to give this emerald to Ruby as a birthday present. Then, I teleported to escape from being captured. I was supposed to end up back at Chris’ house but I ended up here. *touches her horn and rubs it a bit* Seems like I need to work on my teleportation skills.
• (Suddenly, her communicator beeps!)
• Courtney: *answers it* Hello?
• Zak: Courts! Where are you? We’ve been looking all over for you.
• Courtney: Well, let’s just say that I had a run in with Eggman while I was trying to find a birthday present for Ruby.
• Zak: What?! What was he doing there?
• Courtney: You see, I found a red chaos emerald in the park and I refused to give it to him because I wanted to give this emerald to my big sister as a birthday present. So, I used my magic to teleport away from him and I was supposed to end up back at the house with you but I ended up on Angel Island, home of the Master Emerald and Knuckles.
• Zak: Uh oh, that’s not good. Maybe, you need more magic practice.
• Courtney: Yeah, that’s what I said.
• Zak: Well, you better hurry back! We’re just about to go trick or treating.
• Courtney: Okay, Zak! See ya soon! *ends the call as she turns to Knuckles* Sorry, Knuckles. Gotta go now! See ya! And Happy Halloween! *flies back to the Thorndyke residence using her alicorn wings*
• Knuckles: Bye, Courtney! And Happy Halloween!
• (Courtney heads back to the Thorndyke residence with the red chaos emerald in hand or paw for that matter)
• Courtney: Hey, guys! I’m back!
• Zak: Courts! There you are!
• Courtney: By the way, are my big sisters coming over? I really want to give this emerald to Ruby.
• Zak: Don’t worry, they’ll be here soon. I promise. *pets her on the head* You just need to be patient.
• Courtney: Okay. I just hope they didn’t run into Eggman… *hears the doorbell ring!* Oh! They’re here! *runs over to the door and opens it to see…*
• Bokkun: *laughs* Trick or treat! I have something for you too! *takes out a TV and turns it on to reveal Eggman*
• Dr. Eggman: Princess Courtney. Give me the chaos emerald or else you’ll never see your precious sister again!
• (Decoe and Bocoe are holding Ruby hostage after taking her weapon; Crescent Rose off her)
• Courtney: Ruby!
• Dr. Eggman: You have 1 hour. Don’t be late.
• (The TV turns off and explodes in her face)
• Bokkun: *laughs and flies off* Happy Halloween!
• Courtney: *shakes herself off and looks at the chaos emerald* Looks like I have no choice… I have to give this emerald to Eggman so he’ll let my big sister go.
• Tails: No, Courtney! It’s too dangerous!
• Courtney: I don’t have a choice, Tails. Ruby’s in danger and it’s all my fault… *her ears drop down and looks up at the sky* I have to get to his base. *activates her alicorn magic and flies off*
• Tails: Courtney!
• (Courtney hurries to Dr. Eggman’s base to save Ruby. She rushes inside and looks around for Eggman)
• Dr. Eggman: Well, took you long enough!
• Courtney: Where’s my big sister?!
• Dr. Eggman: My, aren’t we impatient? *grabs Ruby and pulls her in*
• Ruby: *wearing cuffs on her hands* Courtney!
• Courtney: Ruby! *growls angrily at Eggman*
• Dr. Eggman: Ah, ah! Don’t make any sudden movements! Now, do you have the chaos emerald?
• Courtney: *takes the chaos emerald out of her witch’s cloak and holds it out* If I give you this emerald, will you let Ruby go?
• Dr. Eggman: *bows to Courtney* Princess, you have my word. *holds out his hand, waiting for Courtney to give him the emerald*
• Courtney: *walks up to him and gives him the emerald*
• Dr. Eggman: Pleasure doing business with you, princess. *pushes Ruby over to her after removing the cuffs as Decoe and Bocoe give Crescent Rose back to her*
• Courtney: Ruby! *hugs her big sister, shedding tears of relief*
• Ruby: Courtney! *hugs her little sister back*
• Courtney: Are you okay?
• Ruby: I’m fine. That was very brave of you…
• Courtney: Ruby, you mean more to me than a silly present. I just care about keeping you safe. *nuzzles her big sister*
• Dr. Eggman: Ugh… Enough with the mushy stuff!
• (Suddenly, some cards saying "Thank you" were thrown at the ground as someone swoops in and grabs the emerald!)
• Dr. Eggman: My chaos emerald!!
• Rouge the Bat: I think you mean MY chaos emerald.
• Courtney: Rouge!

Chapter 4: Christmas time!

• (Christmas time was just around the corner and it was snowing! At the Thorndyke residence, Courtney looks out the window near the front entrance and sees snow falling down from the sky)
• Courtney: Snow! Oh boy! I can’t wait to go outside and play! *opens the door as a strong, cold wind blows and she closes the door* Brrrr!!! *warms herself up and she opens the door to peek outside as the cold wind blows*
• (After a few seconds, Courtney pulls her head back inside and closes the door again as she sees frost on her nose!)
• Courtney: Whoa! It’s cold outside! *flicks the frost off her nose* Better get my overcoat! *rushes to go get her overcoat and a sled*
• (She comes back wearing her overcoat along with some mittens and a hat while pulling the sled along with her tail. Outside, Chris, Sonic, and the others were playing in the snow)
• Courtney: *sings while pulling the sled up the hill* Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. *hums as she continues going up* Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. *hums and gets to the top of the hill*
• (Courtney jumps up and grabs a long tree branch as she swings on it like a giant bell. She gets down and continues to pull the sled along the way)
• Courtney: *sings* Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle- *sees someone at the bottom of the hill* Uh oh!
• (Knuckles was searching around for a chaos emerald in the snow but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack)
• Courtney: *chuckles a bit* I’ll show him how to have some fun! *goes down the hill on the sled at full speed*
• Knuckles: *searching for the emerald in the snow until he sees Courtney coming down the hill on the sled*
• Courtney: Look out below!! *zooms past him as a wave of snow falls on Knuckles*
• Knuckles: *shakes the snow off*
• Courtney: *laughs as she rolls around in the snow after Knuckles got covered in snow*
• Knuckles: *angrily* Courtney!! Now you’ve done it!!
• Courtney: Uh oh! Gotta run! *runs for it*
• Knuckles: *runs after her* Come back here, you little prankster!!
• Courtney: *while running away from Knuckles* Aw, come on, Knuckles! Lighten up! I was just having some fun!
• Knuckles: Well, I don’t think it was fun!! You almost buried me in the snow!
• Sonic: Hey! Calm down, Knuckles. Don’t be too hard on Courtney. She’s just having some fun in the snow.
• Courtney: Yeah, I was just having some fun. So, cut me some slack, will ya? Besides, it’s Christmas time! The one time of the year where we’re all nice each other.
