These are the side stories of Courtney's Adventures of Sonic Prime.

Chapter 1: A Shatterverse Christmas[]

(Courtney was in the Grim far from the fortress of Tails Nine after the events of the fiasco that happened and the Shatterverse was restored. She was planning on making her own miniature ice amusement park to play in)
Courtney: *holds some Pokeballs* Alright, guys! Come on out and help! *throws them up in the air*
(Her Glaceon, Vaporeon, Luxray, and Alolan Vulpix come forth from their Pokeballs)
Courtney: Okay, guys! Let’s make this the best miniature amusement park ever! Vulpix, use Powder Snow!
Vulpix: *uses Powder Snow to cover the ground in snow*
Courtney: Vaporeon, use Hydro Pump!
Vaporeon: *uses Hydro Pump*
Courtney: Glaceon, Blizzard!
Glaceon: *uses Blizzard to freeze the Hydro Pump in order to make a border around the area*
(The ice border rises up)
Courtney: You’re up, Luxray! Use Ice Fang!
Luxray: *uses Ice Fang to make the whole place look beautiful*
(The miniature ice amusement park was finished)
Courtney: Alright, gang! Let’s play!
(They have fun sliding down the ice slides and all kinds of fun)
Courtney: *to Glaceon* Let’s put the ice skating rink right here by this snow Christmas tree. Glaceon, use Ice Beam!
Glaceon: *uses Ice Beam*
Vulpix: *uses Ice Beam to help out Glaceon with the ice skating rink*
(After finishing the skating rink, they make a sledding slope and a pile of snow to land in)
Courtney: *gets to the top while holding a saucer sled and slides down the slope on it* Wahoo!!! *lands in the snow pile and goes back up to the top of the slope again*
(She slides down the slope on her sled and flies right over the border wall after gaining enough speed and momentum)
Courtney: Wahoo!!! *crashes on top of a crystal cluster*
Tails Nine: *flies over to investigate after seeing Courtney’s miniature ice amusement park in the distance and looks around*
Courtney: Hey, Nine! Up here! *waves to him*
Tails Nine: *looks up to see her on top of the crystal cluster* Courtney, what are you doing up there? Get down from that crystal, it’s not safe!
(The saucer sled falls to the ground and rolls off like a coin)
Tails Nine: You know you’re not supposed to climb up there.
Courtney: I didn’t climb it, Nine. I flew up here on my sled.
Tails Nine: It doesn’t matter, get down before you get hurt.
Courtney: Okay! *jumps down* Geronimo!
Tails Nine: *catches her*
Courtney: Thanks, Nine. Good catch! *jumps out of his arms*
Tails Nine: What are you doing out here?
Courtney: I made my own miniature ice amusement park to play in since it doesn’t snow here in the Grim. Not to mention that it’s a perfect activity to do for Christmas.
Tails Nine: *confused* Christmas? What’s Christmas?
Courtney: It’s a very special holiday that my world celebrates. We get to spend some quality time with friends and family, exchange gifts, sing carols. But, the most important thing about this holiday is to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior; Jesus Christ.
(A storybook segment about the birth of Jesus Christ was shown as it begins with Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem with their donkey)
Courtney: *narrates the story* A long, long time ago, Mary and Joseph were traveling together with a donkey from Jerusalem to Bethlehem. But as they reached the city of Bethlehem, there was no room for them at the inn. So, they took shelter in a stable filled with animals and later on that night, Jesus was born. Then, a bright star appeared in the sky informing a group of shepherds about his birth. And he was visited by 3 kings who gave him gifts.
(The segment ends as it cuts back to the present)
Courtney: The gifts from the 3 kings to Jesus is the reason why we receive presents on Christmas morning. Not to mention we receive a special visit from Santa Claus on Christmas Eve!

Chapter 2: Courtney’s birthday[]

(Zak was sneaking around New Yoke City after it was freed from the Chaos Council’s reign and he was carrying something in his backpack)
Zak: *backs up and unknowingly bumps into a certain fox with seven robotic tails who is visiting his old home*
(A special book falls out of his backpack after Zak had bumped into him)
Zak: Sorry, I didn’t see you there. *picks up the book and looks up at the fox* Tails? What are you doing here?
Tails Nine: *offended by what Zak said to him* What did you just call me? *deploys his seven robotic tails*
Zak: Uh, nothing. I mean to call you Tail- *covers his mouth with one of his hands, quickly not wanting to offend him even more* Oops!
Tails Nine: The name’s… Nine!! *pounces towards Zak*
Zak: *dodges* Whoa! *puts the book back in his backpack and gets out his weapon*
Tails Nine: *climbs up one of the walls of a building with his robotic tails* What do you want? Who sent you?!
Zak: No one sent me here! I’m not a threat! I’m here on a secret assignment.
Tails Nine: I don’t know what kind of mind games you’re playing but it won’t work! *pounces towards Zak*
Zak: *uses his weapon to pole vault himself over Nine in order to dodge him*
(The special book falls out of his backpack again and lands right in front of Nine as he notices it)
Tails Nine: *picks up the book and looks at Zak* What’s this?
Zak: That’s my sister’s birthday book. It has all her favorite birthday memories in there.
Tails Nine: *looks inside Courtney’s birthday book and sees photos of her past birthday memories* Is that… Courtney?
Zak: You know my little sister?
Tails Nine: Of course I do. She’s my… friend.
Zak: Well, nice to meet you, Nine. I’m Zak, Zak Saturday.
Tails Nine: *gives him back the book* So, you’re the big brother that Courtney told me about. She told me that she really missed you when she was in the Shatterverse with Sonic. What are you doing here in New Yoke?
Zak: I’m trying to figure out what to do for Courtney’s birthday and so far I have no ideas whatsoever. Mind helping me?
Tails Nine: Of course, Zak. I’d be happy to help you.
Zak: Thanks, Nine. Now, let’s go! Follow me!
(Back at the Thunderbolts estate, Courtney was busy getting herself ready for her special day. She was wearing a blue sparkling dress like what you wear to a movie premiere with a black choker around her neck and she was wearing some blue sparkling makeup except for lipstick)
Courtney: *looks in a mirror* Perfect! I look stunning on my special day! *strikes a pose*
Zak: *peeks into the room with Nine*
Tails Nine: *whispers to him* Does Courtney always dress like that?
Zak: *whispers* Only on special occasions such as royal balls, banquets, galas, and even on her birthday. She likes to get dressed for any special occasion. *gets an idea and whispers* I have an idea! We can throw a surprise party at the School of Friendship! And we can invite everyone all over the Shatterverse to the party.
Tails Nine: *whispers* That… sounds like a good idea.
Zak: *whispers* Then, let’s go! I’ll hand out the invitations.
(Both Nine and Zak head to the other Shatterspaces and hand out the invitations to each one of Sonic’s friends. A few hours later at the School of Friendship, the rest of the Thunderbolts were busy decorating the school)
Twilight: There. All done.
Zak: It looks amazing, Twilight! You guys really outdid yourselves!
Twilight: Thanks, Zak. And we couldn’t have done it without our expert party planner; Pinkie.
Pinkie Pie: *blows a noisemaker while wearing a party hat* Surprise!
Lee Clark: Pinkie! Not yet!
Applejack: Lee is right, Pinkie. Wait until the birthday girl arrives.
Pinkie Pie: Okie-doki-Loki!
Rainbow Dash: *hanging up the birthday banner with Fluttershy’s help*
Zak: Lookin’ good up there, guys! *to Nine* It’ll be a while before they’re done. In the meantime, I need to get a gift for Courtney. It’s at a jewelry store in Ponyville. Come on, let’s go!
(They hurry to the jewelry store in Ponyville and get the special gift Zak wanted to get for Courtney. After getting the gift and after the guests arrive, they were given each a party popper. Not to mention that everyone in the room had a party hat on)
Zak: *to the party guests* Places, everyone! She’s coming!
(Everyone gets into their places as Courtney comes into the School of Friendship)
Courtney: *closes the door behind her after entering the school* Hey, guys! *approaches them* What’s going on?
Everyone: SURPRISE!!!
(They all pull the strings on their party poppers as confetti pops out of them)
Courtney: Wow!!
(Everyone is enjoying the catering from Olive Garden and talking to one another)
Courtney: You guys really surprised me! I’m speechless.
Tails Nine: *wearing a party hat* We could’ve fooled you either way.
Zak: *wearing a party hat too* Happy Birthday, sis! Hope you like this necklace Nine and I got you. *opens the case and reveals a beautiful heart shaped diamond necklace which has a 3.14 carat diamond in it*
Courtney: Oh, guys. You’re spoiling me! You must have better things to do with your money. *gives them both a hug* Thank you so much, guys. You’re sweethearts. *looks at the necklace inside the case*
Zak: *to Pinkie and Rainbow Dash* Okay, guys! Bring in the cake!
(Rainbow Dash and Pinkie pull the big birthday cake out)
Courtney: Wow! *about to blow out the candles*
Zak: *covers her face with a party hat* Ah, ah, ah! You gotta make a wish first! Birthday wishes always come true.
Tails Nine: He’s right, Courtney. Make a wish before you blow out the candles.
Courtney: Hmm… Oh! I know! But, it’s a secret.

Chapter 3: Endless nightmares[]

(Courtney was having a nightmare about when she was being held hostage by Tails Nine in his fortress in the Grim. She was still covered in bandages after she was recovering from the shock burns on her wrists when she was in the hospital for a few weeks)
Courtney: *flies all over the place using her alicorn wings to get away from him* No, please! Leave me alone! *keeps on dodging him* Now I know how a fly feels about being chased by a spider! Except this spider has seven robotic legs! *screams as she gets grabbed by two of Nine’s robotic tails by the hind leg and tries to get away by using her claws to grip the floor but they slip*
Nightmare Tails Nine: *holding her upside down by the hind leg with two of his robotic tails* You’re not going anywhere! You’re my prisoner!
Courtney: No, you’re not real! You’re not the real Nine! He would never say those things to me! I don’t want you here, go away! *tries to get her leg free from his grip*
Nightmare Tails Nine: I am real. As long as I remain alive inside your mind, you can’t run away from me.
Courtney: No! No! *sheds some tears*
???: Stay away from her for I shall vanquish thee!
(The mysterious figure uses her magic on the Nightmare of Tails Nine)
Nightmare Tails Nine: Noooooo!!!
(The nightmare Tails Nine vanishes as Courtney was released from his grip and lands on the ground)
Princess Luna: *lands in front of Courtney* Are you alright, my dear young niece?
Courtney: Aunt Luna! Yeah, I’m okay. Thank you for saving me. *gets up and shakes herself off* If you hadn’t showed up, I would be… I can’t even imagine what might’ve happened to me… *shakes in fear while laying down and shedding tears*
Princess Luna: *lays down on the ground in front of her niece* Do not worry, my dear young niece… You are safe as long as you have your friends and family to protect you. Including your mother and I.
Courtney: Thank you, Aunt Luna. *nuzzles her aunt*
(Suddenly, everything around them was disorienting!)
Princess Luna: I must go. *flies up*
Courtney: Aunt Luna!
Princess Luna: Face your fears!
(Courtney wakes up from her nightmare and jumps up as she throws her blankets off the bed)
Courtney: Aunt Luna?! *sees that it’s morning as she yawns and stretches*
Zak: *comes in to the room and has a TV tray with pancakes that had butter and syrup on them, bacon, scrambled eggs, fresh picked berries from the estate orchard and orange juice* Hey, Courts! Good morning!
Courtney: Hey, Zak! Good morning.
Zak: *gives her the TV tray* Here. Breakfast in bed.
Courtney: Thanks. What’s the occasion?
Zak: Nothing. I just wanted to do something special for you since you’re now out of the hospital.
Courtney: Thanks, Zak. *looks down at her food and doesn’t say a word*
Zak: What’s wrong, sis? Not hungry?
Courtney: *looks up at her brother* I am hungry, it’s just…
Zak: Just what? I thought you would be happy now that you’re out of the hospital.
Courtney: I just had a bad dream… *frowns as her ears drop down*
Zak: Oh, is that what this is all about? Care to tell me about it?
Courtney: It was about Nine. He was chasing me all over the place inside his fortress. I tried to get away but he caught me by the hind leg with two of his robotic tails. I wanted to run but I couldn’t, I was so petrified and he wouldn’t let me go. Then, my Aunt Luna showed up and rescued me. And that’s when I woke up.
Zak: I see… That explains the dark circles under your eyes. Don’t worry, sis. It’s been a few weeks since that incident in the Shatterverse and Nine is not going to kidnap you or hold you hostage ever again. I promise.
Courtney: You mean it?
Zak: *nods yes and does the pinkie promise* Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.
Courtney: *hugs her big brother as he hugs her back* Thank you, Zak. I’m so glad to have you.
Zak: *ruffles her head after hugging her* Now, you’d better eat up. You need your energy for the day. *leaves the room*
Courtney: *eats her breakfast a bit and then she thinks to herself* What on earth did I get myself into? *continues to eat her breakfast*
(After Courtney has gone throughout her day, she was having yet another nightmare about Tails Nine again later on that night. He was holding her by the neck with one of his robotic tails and she was trying to get out of his grip while shedding tears meaning that she was scared)
Nightmare Tails Nine: You can’t run away from me.
Zak (voice): Nine is not going to kidnap you or hold you hostage ever again.
Renegade Knuckles (voice): Nine finally showed his true colors. I tried to warn you.
Shadow (voice): Sonic, Courtney, I told you Nine couldn’t be trusted!
Rusty Rose (voice): The fox has betrayed us!
Yang (voice): Nine! You treacherous fox!
Weiss (voice): That’s low even for you, Nine!
Ruby (voice): You monster!
Nightmare Tails Nine: Poor Courtney. So brave, so powerless.
(The words echo throughout her mind)
Courtney: *gasps in horror and wakes up from her nightmare with dark circles under her eyes, her heart was racing and her fur was a mess after waking up from her nightmare as she sits up and buries her face in her paws* Why won’t these nightmares go away? *starts shedding tears as her ears drop down until she gets an idea* I know what I have to do… *packs her weapons and her Pokéballs after leaving a note on her pillow to explain why she left as she activates her alicorn magic after opening her bedroom window and flies off to the Grim all by herself*
(Rainbow Dash and Spike just got out of bed to go to the kitchen for a midnight snack until they notice that Courtney was gone!)
Spike: Courtney!
Rainbow Dash: Where’d she go?
Spike: *sees the note on Courtney’s pillow, picks it up and reads it* She’s gone to the Grim to see Nine!
Rainbow Dash: We gotta tell Zak and the others!
(They rush out of the room to go get the rest of the Thunderbolts and wake them up. Meanwhile, Courtney was at the Grim and she was peeking into Nine’s lab in the fortress to see if she could find her fox friend)
Courtney: *with her ears down in fear* Hello? Anybody home? *whimpers in fear like Fluttershy* Oh… I can’t do this… *gets a bit of a determined look* You CAN do this! Just be brave. *clears her throat and calls out to her fox friend* Hello? Nine?
Tails Nine: *drops down from above after hearing her* Who goes there?! *deploys his seven robotic tails as a means to defend himself*
Courtney: *yelps in fear and tumbles backwards after Nine had startled her*
Tails Nine: *puts his seven robotic tails away after seeing his friend* Oh, Courtney. It’s just you. Sorry if I scared you.
Courtney: Don’t worry, it’s okay. I was just surprised, that’s all. *gets up and dusts herself off*
Tails Nine: What brings you here?
Courtney: I need your help with something. I keep having nightmares about- *covers her mouth, quickly not wanting to offend her fox friend by telling him her nightmares about him*
Tails Nine: About what?
Courtney: Uh, nothing! It’s nothing.
Tails Nine: Tell me right now!
Courtney: *yelps in fear as she whimpers like Fluttershy and covers her eyes with her paws while shedding tears after Nine had yelled at her*
Tails Nine: *realizes that he went too far and kneels down to her height* Courtney, I didn’t mean to scare you… I-
Courtney: *shaking in fear as she uncovers one of her eyes*
Tails Nine: *speaks calmly and tries not to scare her again* Tell me…
Courtney: Huh?
Tails Nine: Tell me about your nightmares.
Courtney: *inhales and exhales as she slowly uncovers her tearful eyes* Okay. These nightmares are about you. It was just like how I remember it. You were holding me hostage in your lab and you would shock me with the handcuffs that you invented if I tried to escape from you or insult you and your previous plans. That was how it was for the past few weeks but most of these nightmares were different. Instead of you shocking me with the handcuffs, you would chase me around your lab and catch me by the hind leg with your robotic tails. I wanted to run but I couldn’t because I was too scared and you wouldn’t let me go.
Tails Nine: *his ears drop down after hearing about Courtney’s nightmares of him* Is-is that how you think of me? A monster? *sighs* Wouldn’t be the first…
Courtney: *grabs his hand with both paws* No, Nine. It’s not you. It may look like you but it’s not. The fox in my dreams is only a monster and you’re nothing like that. I wanna figure out why these nightmares keep happening, that’s why I came to you for help. Can you help me get rid of that creature in my dreams? Please… I don’t wanna be like this forever…
Tails Nine: *sighs and pets her head to comfort her* Okay. I’ll help you. I simply can’t leave you like this. *gets an idea* I think I know what might help. This’ll only take a moment. In the meantime, why don’t you get yourself comfortable?
Courtney: Okay. Good thing I brought a sleeping bag with me. *sets up her sleeping bag and gets into it*
(Nine comes back with a vitals machine with a wristband and a headband attached to it)
Tails Nine: Here. Attach these. It’ll help measure your vitals while you sleep.
Courtney: Are you sure this is safe?
Tails Nine: *nods yes as he holds up her wrist with one of his robotic tails and puts the wristband on her wrist* These nightmares are still a mystery. *puts the headband around her head*
(The machine starts measuring her vitals)
Tails Nine: Alright, now all you have to do is sleep.
Courtney: But, I’m still scared of going back to sleep… And I don’t know how.
Tails Nine: I may have a solution. Wait here. *gets out a syringe and fills it up with a sleeping potion* There. Alright, the sleeping potion is ready.
Courtney: *scared after seeing the syringe needle* Nine, is it necessary to give it to me via syringe? You know how much I hate needles.
Tails Nine: You wanna find the cause of your nightmares, don’t you?
Courtney: *nods yes* Uh-huh.
Tails Nine: Alright then. *holds up her wrist* Hold still, it’s gonna sting…
Twilight: *shows up with the rest of the Thunderbolts* Courtney, don’t!
Courtney: *sees her team* Guys?
Rainbow Dash: *to Nine* You keep away from her, you creep!
Tails Nine: *puts the syringe down on the sleeping bag and deploys his seven robotic tails*
Courtney: Nine! Please, don’t! *turns to her team* Stand down, guys! I’m not in danger!
Applejack: Then, what in tarnation are you doing hooked up to that crazy machine?
Courtney: Don’t worry, it’s to measure my vitals while I sleep. Nine is gonna help me with my nightmares and try to find the source of them.
Apple Bloom: Courtney! Are you okay? *runs into the room with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo*
Applejack: Apple Bloom? *turns to her little sister and her friends* We told y’all to stay at the estate!
Apple Bloom: We wanted to help save Courtney.
Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo: Yeah!
Courtney: Don’t worry, guys. I don’t need saving. Nine is just gonna help me. I promise he won’t do anything bad to me. *thinks for a bit* You know, there is a possible theory behind these nightmares. I think it might be… Darkrai.
Elfilin: *afraid after hearing that name and hides behind Zak*
Tails Nine: Darkrai? Who’s Darkrai?
Twilight: It’s a Pokémon that causes bad dreams. If you fall asleep near that Pokémon, you’ll have terrible nightmares. Are you sure about that, Courtney?
Courtney: Well, how else am I having these nightmares? But, enough of this chit chat. I need to sleep and Nine has work to do. Alone.
Applejack: She’s right. Come on, y’all. Let’s leave them alone. *leaves the room as the rest of the team follows*
Tails Nine: *picks up the syringe and holds her wrist* Okay. Ready?
Courtney: I’m ready. Do it.
Tails Nine: *nods yes and injects the sleeping potion into her*
Courtney: *feels sleepy after being injected with the sleeping potion and falls asleep*
Tails Nine: Okay. Now that she’s asleep, let’s see her vitals. *looks at the machine*
Courtney: *groans in her sleep while having another nightmare about her fox friend trying to capture her*
(The machine’s vital signs on the monitor are rising up and down)
Tails Nine: These nightmares must be serious! Poor Courtney must be so traumatized… And it’s all my fault…
Courtney: *talking in her sleep* No… No… Stay away…!
(The machine starts beeping and sparking)
Tails Nine: No! No! It’s starting to overload!
(Suddenly, a familiar Pokémon rises out of the shadows!)
Darkrai: Darkrai…
Tails Nine: *sees Darkrai* Courtney was right, it is Darkrai! *gets a determined look and deploys his seven robotic tails, ready to fight Darkrai* Listen, you Pokémon! You’d better leave my friend alone or else I’ll blast you!
Darkrai: *uses it’s signature move; Dark Void and fires it at him*
Tails Nine: *screams and braces himself*
(Suddenly, a rainbow streak swoops in and gets him out of the way before Darkrai’s move could hit him)
Tails Nine: *sees that Rainbow Dash was the one who saved him* Thanks.
Rainbow Dash: No problem!
Darkrai: *circling above Courtney* Dark, Darkrai.
Courtney: *continues to groan in her sleep*
Tails Nine: *uses his tails to fly next to Rainbow Dash* We gotta stop Darkrai or else Courtney will be trapped in those nightmares forever!
Rainbow Dash: Then, let’s get ‘em! Come on, Darkrai! Put ‘em up! Let’s go! *zooms in, recklessly to try and fight off Darkrai*
Tails Nine: No, wait, you dope! It’s not safe! *flies after Rainbow Dash to stop her from getting hit by Darkrai’s signature move; Dark Void*
Darkrai: *uses Dark Pulse*
Rainbow Dash: *flies to dodge Darkrai’s attacks*
Tails Nine: *gets Rainbow Dash out of the way and takes cover*
Rainbow Dash: Hey! What’s the big idea?! I had it on the ropes!
Tails Nine: You can’t just rush in without a plan! It’s dangerous! And we don’t wanna risk putting Courtney in danger!
Rainbow Dash: Well, I say we give Darkrai a good punch in the face!
Tails Nine: And what good would that do? Even if you do manage to hurt it, it’ll just disappear into the shadows!
Rainbow Dash: Then, what do you suggest we do?!
Voices: Use Flamethrower!
Rainbow Dash and Tails Nine: Huh?
(A Cyndaquil and a Tepig use Flamethrower towards Darkrai as Lee and Zak step in)
Lee Clark: Get to Courtney! We’ll take care of Darkrai! Tepig, use Flame Charge!
Zak: Cyndaquil, use Flame Wheel!
(Rainbow Dash and Nine rush over to Courtney who was still trapped in those nightmares conjured by Darkrai. Meanwhile with the battle with Darkrai, Lee’s Tepig and Zak’s Cyndaquil get knocked back)
Zak: Cyndaquil!
Lee Clark: Tepig!
Zak: Come on, guys! You can do it! Get up!
(Tepig and Cyndaquil struggle to get up when all of a sudden, Zak’s Cyndaquil starts glowing!)
Tails Nine: What’s going on with Cyndaquil?
Rainbow Dash: Alright! It’s evolving!
(Cyndaquil evolves into Quilava)
Quilava: Quilava!
Zak: It’s Quilava! *gets out his Rotom Phone and scans Quilava*
Zak’s Rotom Phone: Quilava has been registered to your Pokédex! Quilava, the Volcano Pokemon. A Fire Type and the evolved form of Cyndaquil. Quilava intimidates foes with its flame’s heat, and when ready to battle, the fire burns with more strength.
Quilava: *charges in and uses a new move called Eruption on Darkrai*
Lee Clark: That’s Eruption!
Zak: Awesome! You learned a new move!
Rainbow Dash: Way to go, Quilava!
Quilava: *grateful* Quilava!
Darkrai: *uses Dark Void*
Lee and Zak: Dodge it!
(Quilava and Tepig dodge the attack)
Zak: Use Eruption!
Quilava: *uses Eruption on Darkrai, knocking back*
Darkrai: *collapses to the ground after being defeated*
Tails Nine: Is it-?
Zak: *takes out an Ultra Ball and throws it at Darkrai to catch it*
(The Ultra Ball shakes three times and catches it)
Zak: *picks up the Ultra Ball and then looks at his Rotom Phone*
Zak’s Rotom Phone: Darkrai has been registered to your Pokédex.
Zak: There. Now, Courtney won’t be having any more nightmares again.

Chapter 4: The Shatterverse World Grand Prix[]

(Tails Nine was busy in his lab until he sees something zoom by in the Grim on one of the monitors)
Tails Nine: What was that? *goes outside to investigate* Huh, strange… Maybe, I’m just seeing things.
(Suddenly, three familiar pups race by Nine on something called Extreme Gear)
Courtney: *wearing her Extreme Gear attire* Wahoo!
Eclipse and Little Betty: Yeah!
(They do some aerial tricks on their extreme gear)
Courtney: *stops in front of Nine* Hey, Nine! *takes off her goggles* What’s up?
Tails Nine: That’s what I’d like to know. What are you doing here? *sees the Extreme Gear that Courtney is riding on* And what is that thing you’re riding?
Courtney: It’s an Extreme Gear. Wanna give it a try?
Tails Nine: Uh, sure.
Courtney: *gets off her Extreme Gear* Go ahead. Knock yourself out.
Tails Nine: *uses his tails to fly up and get on the Extreme Gear*
Courtney: Just remember, keep your balance and stay on the board! This thing has a lot of horsepower!
Tails Nine: Noted, Courtney. Thanks for the warning.
(The Extreme Gear levitates and zooms off)
Tails Nine: Whoa!!! *keeps his balance on the Extreme Gear and rides it until he falls off and lands on the ground* Oof!
Courtney: *catches her Extreme Gear before it could crash and turns it off* Way to go, Nine! Not bad for your first try!
Tails Nine: Easy for you to say. How did you get so good on that thing?
Courtney: Sonic and his friends taught me how to use it. My first time using this board, I kept falling off multiple times, getting cuts, scrapes and bruises in the process. But, after a couple of tries, I managed to get back up and ride like a pro. And to this day, I’m an Extreme Gear racer.
Tails Nine: *gets up, slowly* Wow, impressive! *dusts himself off*
Eclipse: *stops in front of Courtney on her Extreme Gear* Hey, Courtney! I’ve got an idea! Why don’t we have an EX World Grand Prix in the Shatterverse?
Courtney: That sounds like a good idea! But, we need a grand prize for the Grand Prix.
Little Betty: Maybe, your other friends in the Shatterspaces will have some ideas.
Courtney: Good point. Come on, let’s go. See ya later, Nine! Hope to see you at the World Grand Prix.
(They head off)
Tails Nine: Have fun!
(Courtney, Eclipse, and Little Betty were in New Yoke City which was freed from the Chaos Council’s reign after going through a portal Courtney conjured up with her magic. They were racing through the streets on their Extreme Gear)
Courtney: *passes by some citizens on her Extreme Gear* Excuse us!
Little Betty: Pardon us!
Eclipse: Extreme Gear racers coming through!
Rebel Rouge: *gets in front of them with Renegade Knuckles and puts her hand out to tell them to stop* Hold it right there!
Courtney: *dubbed as RX-24 a.k.a Rex from Star Tours* Uh oh! Wrong way! Brakes! Brakes! Where are the brakes?! *slows down and stops right in front of Rebel and Renegade but falls off her Extreme Gear and is sent flying over them as she screams and lands on the ground with a thud* Oof!!
Rebel Rouge and Renegade Knuckles: *winces after seeing Courtney land on the ground* Oooh!!
Renegade Knuckles: That one hurt her!
Courtney: *groans in pain while stars swirl above her as she gets up and rubs her head* Not the most graceful of landings… *takes off her goggles and puts them on her head*
Rebel Rouge: Courtney, don’t you realize how dangerous it was to ride through the streets on… *turns around and looks at her Extreme Gear* Whatever that thing is. You and your friends could’ve seriously hurt someone.
Courtney: Sorry, Rebel. We were just some having fun on our Extreme Gear. In fact, we were just looking for you and Knucks. We came here to tell you about our greatest idea yet! We’re planning on doing an EX World Grand Prix in the Shatterverse and we’re trying to figure out what the grand prize should be.
Rebel Rouge: Well, we could use some excitement since the Chaos Council is gone.
Courtney: Alright! That’s the spirit! Welp, we’re off to Boscage Maze and No Place. See you guys soon! *gets back on her Extreme Gear and uses her magic to conjure up a portal to Boscage Maze*
(They ride through the forest to find the Scavengers, Thorn Rose, and Birdie and tell them of their idea)
Courtney: Prim? Gnarly? Mangey? Anyone?!
Eclipse: Where could they be, Courtney?
Courtney: Maybe, they’re up in their village. Follow me! *rides her Extreme Gear up one of the trees as her friends follow her*
(They land on one of the wooden platforms and then get off their Extreme Gear and turn them off)
Courtney: Come on, the village is this way! *leads her friends to the Scavengers village while carrying her Extreme Gear*
(They get to the village and see the Scavengers, Thorn Rose, and Birdie)
Courtney: Hey, guys!
Prim Rouge: Princess!
Mangey Tails: *growls excitedly after seeing Courtney*
Courtney: It’s good to see you too! In fact, my friends and I are here to tell you about our idea! We’re planning on doing an EX World Grand Prix on Extreme Gear!
Thorn Rose: Grand Prix?
Prim Rouge: Extreme Gear?
Courtney: *shows them her Extreme Gear* Here. This is what an Extreme Gear looks like.
(They were amazed by Courtney’s Extreme Gear)
Gnarly Knuckles: How does this thing work?
Courtney: I’ll show you. *turns it on as it floats* Ta-da!

Chapter 5: A Valentine’s Day date night[]

(It was Valentine’s Day and Courtney was getting ready for her Valentine’s Day date with her husband; XR. She was dressed in a beautiful dress which was similar to Belle’s dress as well as similar accessories)
Courtney: *hums "A Whole New World" while brushing her fur along with her ears and looking in a mirror on her vanity until she hears a knock on the door* Yes? Come in! *puts the brush down on the vanity*
Zak: *comes into the room* Hey, sis! How’s it going?
Courtney: It’s going great, Zak. I’m finished brushing my fur and my ears and finished putting on some makeup except for lipstick. Anyways, I have to get going. My husband’s waiting.
Zak: Okay, but be back before dark!
Courtney: Alright, Zak! See ya later! *activates her alicorn magic and flies off to go meet her husband*
(Meanwhile, XR was busy setting up the marble gazebo and an open area (which is also made of marble) for dancing with his magic for his Valentine’s Day dinner date with his wife in the middle of the forest in Boscage Maze)
XR: *wearing a tuxedo and holding a bouquet of roses* I hope she gets here soon.
Courtney: Sweetheart! *lands on the ground*
XR: *turns around to see his wife* Courtney! There you are!
Courtney: Oh, you look so handsome. Here, let me fix your tie for you. *fixes his bowtie*
XR: Thank you, honey. I also have these for you. *gives her the bouquet of roses*
Courtney: Oh, XR. You’re so sweet! *holds the bouquet of roses* You know me too well.
XR: Anything for you, hon. Oh! *grabs a rose from the bouquet and puts it behind his wife’s ear* And I think one of these roses would look good behind your ear. Now, let’s get some food. I’m starving.
(They sit down at the table under the gazebo and Courtney places the rose bouquet in a vase to hold them in)
Courtney: Now, what would my loving husband like for dinner? Steak?
XR: Yes, please.
Courtney: *uses her alicorn magic to summon in a steak* Here you are. As for me, I would like some grilled chicken, roasted potatoes and a salad. *summons in a plate with two pieces of grilled chicken, roasted potatoes and a side salad with her magic*
XR: You never cease to amaze me, my dear.
Courtney: Thank you, XR.
XR: *chuckles and smiles at his wife*
Courtney: What?
XR: Oh, nothing. Just remembering how I laid eyes on the most beautiful princess in the world.
Courtney: Oh, XR. Stop. You’re flattering me… *blushes*
XR: *pours some sparkling cider into some fancy glasses* Here, Courtney. *raises his glass* A toast… to our future!
Courtney: *raises her glass as well* To our future.
(They clink their glasses, gently)
XR: *wipes his paws off with a napkin after eating his dinner* Well, I think I’m in the mood for a dance. *gets out of his chair* Shall we, milady? *holds out his paw*
Courtney: *wipes off her paws with her napkin after eating her dinner* But, of course. *takes his paw after getting out of her chair as she and her husband head over to the open area next to the gazebo*
(They dance a waltz to the violin music which was playing "Beauty and the Beast")
Courtney: I must say you’re a pretty good dancer, my love.
XR: I could say the same for you, honey.
(Unknown to them, Thorn Rose and Birdie were out patrolling in the jungle until they heard the violin music playing and see Courtney and her husband dancing)
Birdie: *chirps in confusion*
Thorn Rose: I don’t know what is going on down there, Birdie. Let’s get a closer look and be quiet.
(They land behind the bushes and peek out to see Courtney and XR dancing)
Thorn Rose: Is that Courtney? And who is that other dog she’s dancing with? *sees Courtney smiling while dancing with her husband* Wait… Is she… smiling?
Birdie: *chirps quietly in confusion*
Courtney: XR, what if somebody sees us?
XR: Don’t worry about it, Courtney. Let’s just enjoy this beautiful night.
Courtney: Alright. *continues dancing with him and embraces him while waltzing with him*
(The song ends and then they look at each other. And as they were leaning towards each other for a kiss, they heard a branch snap!)
Courtney: *startled* Oh!!
XR: Stay behind me. *about to reach for his blaster*
Courtney: *senses two familiar figures from the bushes and stops her husband* XR, wait! Let me handle this. *approaches the bushes*
XR: *grabs her arm* Courtney, be careful.
Courtney: I will. *turns to the bushes* Come on out, you two. There’s no reason to hide.
(Thorn and Birdie come out of the bushes)
Courtney: Hi, Thorn! Hi, Birdie!
Thorn Rose: How did you know it was us?
Courtney: I sensed that you were hiding in those bushes all along while I was dancing with my husband.
Thorn Rose: Husband?
XR: *comes over* Uh, hi…!
Courtney: Thorn, Birdie, this is my husband; XR. *turns to her husband* XR, this is Thorn Rose and Birdie.
XR: Nice to meet you. Courtney has told me a lot about you and Birdie.

Chapter 6: Mega Stone Treasure Hunt[]

(Courtney was on the hunt for some Mega Stones in the Shatterverse. She was starting her hunt in the Grim, the home of her fox friend; Tails Nine)
Courtney: *uses the spell that Rarity taught her to search for the Mega Stone*
(The Mega Stone was inside the crystal cluster)
Courtney: Bingo! *uses her claws to mark the spot where the Mega Stone is* Now, to get it out. *blasts the crystal cluster open with her magic and the Mega Stone shines*
(Courtney reaches inside the cluster and pulls out the Mega Stone)
Courtney: *opens her paw to reveal the Mega Stone that she pulled out* Alright! It’s an Aggronite! *puts it in a velvet bag and closes it* Now, let’s see if I could find a few more. *puts the velvet bag around her neck and uses her magic to open a portal to New Yoke City*
(Courtney arrives in New Yoke City and uses the spell again to track down the Mega Stone as she follows it to the Yoke which was abandoned after the Chaos Council was defeated)
Courtney: There’s gotta be a Mega Stone around here somewhere… *uses the spell to track down the Mega Stone*
(She makes her way to the security room and sees not only one but two Mega Stones behind the console!)
Courtney: Two Mega Stones! Wow, what a stroke of luck! A Mewtwonite X and a Mewtwonite Y! I wonder… Why did the Chaos Council have these Mega Stones? Well, no time for that. I gotta continue my search. *grabs the two Mega Stones and puts them in the velvet bag with the Aggronite*
(Her search continues to Boscage Maze)
Courtney: *searches around the jungle for the next Mega Stone* Hmm…
(Something shiny over by a tree trunk catches her eye)
Courtney: Hmm… I wonder… *grabs it and pulls it out of the ground to reveal another Mega Stone!* Another Mega Stone! And it’s a Sceptilite. And there’s another one! *grabs the second one out of the ground* A Tyranitarite!
(She puts the two Mega Stones in the bag and closes it)
Courtney: Man! I am on a roll today! I’m finding Mega Stones like crazy! Now, let’s get to No Place! *uses her magic to summon a portal to No Place*
(Courtney was using her alicorn magic to fly around No Place to find any other Mega Stones)
Courtney: *sees something shiny on one of the islands* Oooh!!! *flies over to the island and finds the shiny objects in the sand*
(She digs in the sand and finds 3 more Mega Stones!)
Courtney: Alright! 3 Mega Stones! There’s a Gyaradosite, a Slowbronite, and a Sharpedonite too! *grabs the 3 Mega Stones out of the sand and puts them in the velvet bag around her neck as she closes it* Looks like I hit the jackpot! And I’m gonna need a bigger velvet bag for these Mega Stones. So far, I’ve collected 8 Mega Stones. I wonder if there’s any more out there in the other Shatterspaces. Welp, there’s only one way to find out… *spreads her wings out and is about to fly off*
???: Ahoy there, princess!
Courtney: *turns around to see Batten Rouge, Captain Black Rose, and Sails Tails* Ahoy, guys! Long time no see!
Batten Rouge: Off to search for more treasure, aren’t ye?
Courtney: Yep! I sure am! I’m currently on the hunt for some shiny objects called Mega Stones.
Batten Rouge, Captain Black Rose, and Sails Tails: *amazed by this* Oooh!!
Sails Tails: Well, princess. We bid ye good luck!
Courtney: Thank ye so much! *flies off as she thinks to herself* I hope these Mega Stones I found are the real deal. Maybe, I should ask Nine to analyze them.
(Courtney heads back to the Grim and heads to Nine’s fortress. She was looking around for him until she sees him working on an invention that can analyze an object)
Courtney: *in her mind* Oh, he’s busy. I shouldn’t bother him, best to leave him alone… *turns around and walks away but trips on a crystal pillar* Whoa!! *lands on the ground* Oof!
(The Mega Stones fall out of the velvet bag like marbles and roll in the opposite direction)
Courtney: Oh no! The Mega Stones!! *runs after them*
Tails Nine: *turns around after hearing Courtney as he sees her gathering up the Mega Stones she found in the other Shatterspaces including the Aggronite she found in the Grim* Courtney, what are you doing here? And what’s going on?
Courtney: I’m sorry to disturb you, Nine. I promise as soon as I gather up all these Mega Stones, I’ll be out of your hair.
Tails Nine: Mega Stones?
Courtney: They’re special stones that allow a specific Pokemon to go through a phenomenon known as Mega Evolution. But, in order for a Pokemon to Mega Evolve, the trainer needs to hold a Key Stone and it must resonate with the Mega Stone the Pokemon is holding. Each Pokemon species that can Mega Evolve has its own Mega Stone. But, the reason I came here is because I need a favor to ask. I was hoping you could do an analysis on these Mega Stones I found. I wanted to know if they are the real ones. If you’re too busy, I understand. I can always come back another time. *about to leave after gathering up the Mega Stones she found in the Shatterverse*
Tails Nine: No, don’t leave. It’s okay. I was just surprised, that’s all.
