Taking a hit for Sonic

• Courtney: *determined to stop the fight between her friends to prevent them from hurting each other* Sonic! Nine! Stop! *flies in to stop the fight as she pushes Sonic out of the way*
• Sonic: Dah!
• Tails Nine: *unintentionally punches Courtney in the chest with his robotic tails*
• Courtney: *screams after being punched by Nine and hits the wall as she falls to the ground*
• Sonic: No!

Tails Nine sees the error of his ways

• Tails Nine: *looks at the Grim decaying and then looks at Courtney who was hurt after he accidentally punched her as he gasps in horror* Courtney! *goes over to her, quickly using his seven robotic tails* No, no, no, no, no! Courtney! Are you okay?
• Courtney: *groans in pain and looks up at Nine while shedding tears*
• Tails Nine: *kneels down to her height* Courtney, don’t look at me that way. I’m sorry… I-I didn’t mean to- *reaches his hand out to comfort her*
• Courtney: *closes her eyes in fear while hanging her head down in fear, worried that Nine might hurt her psychically even further*
• Tails Nine: *looks at his hands and buries his face in his hands, guilty about what he did to his friend and his reckless use of the Paradox Prism* What have I done…?
• Ruby: *rushes over to her little sister with Yang, Weiss, and Blake as she picks her up and holds her in her arms* Sis, are you okay?
• Courtney: Ruby! Yang! Weiss! Blake! I missed you…! *groans in pain after she got hit against the wall by Nine and the shock burns that she got from the handcuffs* My chest and wrists hurt…
• Weiss: *pets her little sister on the head* Don’t worry, Courtney. It’s okay. You’re safe now.
• Courtney: *shedding tears in relief knowing that she was safe with her big sisters*
• Weiss: *turns to Nine* Tails Nine. *shows her huntsmen license* You are under arrest for treason, theft, attempted murder, kidnapping and mass destruction of the Shatterspaces! You have the right to remain silent! Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
• Courtney: *gets out of Ruby’s arms and flies in front of her fox friend using her alicorn wings* Please, Weiss! Don’t arrest him! If you do, he won’t be able to fix the Shatterverse.

Victory!

• Zak: *sees Blake carrying Courtney who has shock burns on her wrists from the handcuffs* Blake! What’s wrong with Courtney?
• Courtney: *groans in pain while being held by her big sister*
• Blake: *looks at her little sister and then turns to Zak* We’ll explain later. Right now, we need to get Courtney to the hospital.
• (Team CRWBY rushes Courtney to the hospital for medical treatment as the group looks at each other in concern and confusion. As soon as Team CRWBY got to the hospital, they rushed into the Emergency Room to see Nurse Joy)
• Blake: Nurse Joy!
• Nurse Joy: What seems to be the problem?
• Weiss: It’s our little sister, she’s in pretty bad shape.
• Courtney: *groans in pain from the pain of the shock burns on her wrists and when Nine punched her against the wall*
• Nurse Joy: *sees the shock burns* Oh dear! *types on the computer* We need a stretcher for the princess stat!
• (Two Chansey come into the waiting room with a stretcher for Courtney)
• Blake: *places her little sister on the stretcher*
• Courtney: *groaning in pain*
• (The Chansey take Courtney back to treat her shock burns and do an X-ray on her chest to check for any broken bones)
• Nurse Joy: Don’t worry. The doctors and I will do everything we can to help her.
• Blake: Thank you, Nurse Joy.
• (Nurse Joy heads back to treat Courtney of her shock burns and X-ray her chest)
• Ruby: *sighs* It’s gonna be a while before her treatment is over. *yawns* After that battle, I think I need a nap.

Epilogue: In the hospital/Courtney’s recovery

• (Ruby was sleeping in the waiting room until she wakes up from her nap)
• Yang: Hey, Rubes! Good morning.
• Ruby: Yang. Where are we?
• Blake: We’re in the waiting room of the hospital.
• Ruby: Wait! Courtney! Is she alright?
• Weiss: She’s being treated right now. Nurse Joy and the other doctors are doing their best.
• (Nurse Joy comes into the waiting room to inform Team CRWBY of Courtney’s condition)
• Ruby: Nurse Joy! How’s Courtney? Is she alright?
• Nurse Joy: Your little sister is gonna be just fine. The shock burns on her wrists are all treated and her chest is fine. No broken bones.
• Ruby: Thank goodness.
• Nurse Joy: I can take you to her room if you’d like.
• Ruby: Yes. Thank you.
• (Nurse Joy takes them to the hospital room where Courtney is as she opens the door. Courtney was resting in bed in her hospital pajamas with an IV in her arm to help her get fluids into her body and her wrists and chest were bandaged)
• Courtney: Ruby! Yang! Weiss! Blake!
• Ruby: Courtney! *goes over to the bed and hugs her little sister*
• Courtney: *hugs her big sister back*
• Ruby: How are you feeling?
• Courtney: I’m doing okay.
• Ruby: *pets her little sister’s head* That’s good to hear…
• (Suddenly, Sonic comes in to the room to check on Courtney after closing the door behind him)
• Sonic: Hey, Courtney. How are you feeling?
• Courtney: Never better, Sonic. Thank you for rescuing me. If you hadn’t gotten through to Nine, I would’ve been a goner and the whole Shatterverse would have been destroyed.
• Sonic: Hey, don’t mention it. That’s what friends are for. *pets her head and remembers something* Oh! I almost forgot! *gets out her yellow chaos emerald that she gave to him for safekeeping* Here’s your chaos emerald, Courtney. *gives it back to her*
• Courtney: Thank you, Sonic!
