(Team CRWBY lands on the ground using their landing strategies as Sonic lands on top of a dumpster)
Sonic: *groans in pain and gets up* Never thought I’d be glad to be back in New Yoke. *runs out of the alley and up the side of a tall building with Team CRWBY as they see everything starting to decay* Everything is collapsing. This is terrible!
???: Is it?
(Tails Nine appears as a hologram)
Tails Nine: That seems odd coming from you. As far as I can tell, you only care about your own home.
Sonic: Nine, we were supposed to fix this together. Are you doing this?
Tails Nine: No, this destruction was inevitable once the Chaos Council opened these portals. I’m just taking what I need to keep my world safe. And now, I just need the finishing touch.
Sonic: Then, you’re going to have to catch me. *jumps off the building*
Courtney: Adios! *follows Sonic along with her big sisters*
Tails Nine: Don’t you realize the power I have in my fingertips? You can’t run away from me.
(The city rumbles and then tilts to the side)

The Grim Birdies show up![]

(Suddenly, a robotic squawking was heard!)
Sonic: Oh no…
(The Grim Birdies show up after appearing through one of the giant tears in the sky)
Courtney: They found us!
Tails Nine: I’m tired of waiting for you to accept your future, Sonic. *to the Grim Birdies* Bring him to me alive.
Rebel Rouge: Are those…?
Sonic: Angry metal death birds. Yep. Worst petting zoo attraction ever. These birds are after me. I need to move. I’ll see you back at the Yoke in a jiffy. *jumps off the ship*
Courtney: Wait for us, Sonic! *follows Sonic along with her big sisters*

Grim Birdie Chase[]

The Chaos Council helps[]

Tails Nine: You can run as fast as you want. It doesn’t matter. I know where you’re going. Grim Birdie Alpha, head for the Yoke.
(The Grim Birdie Alpha flies towards the Yoke)
Sonic: I won’t let you hurt anyone else! *goes after the Grim Birdie Alpha with Courtney and her big sisters*
(They chase the Grim Birdie Alpha to the Yoke as Sonic rams into it and they all get to the top)
Sonic: *pants while holding his arm in pain* Had enough?
(The two other Grim Birdies surround Sonic and Team CRWBY)
Courtney: Sonic! We’re surrounded!
Yang, Weiss and Blake: *gets out their weapons and stands their ground*
Tails Nine: Poor Sonic. So brave, so powerless.
Ruby: *holds Courtney in her arms and glares angrily at Nine while protecting her little sister*
Tails Nine: *to the Grim Birdies* Bring him to me!

Tails Nine captures Courtney[]

(Suddenly, Sonic, Team CRWBY and the Chaos Council heard Courtney scream like Princess Elise the Third)
Sonic: *gasps and turns around to see the Grim Birdie Alpha with Courtney in it’s talon*
Courtney: *tries to get free from the Grim Birdie Alpha’s grip*
Ruby: Courtney!
Tails Nine: *dubbed as Dr. Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)* I’m afraid our little game ends now.
Courtney: *grunts as she gets her arm free and she has her yellow chaos emerald in her paw* Sonic! *throws him the chaos emerald* Take this!
Sonic: *catches it* I’ve got it! And don’t worry, I’ll rescue you!
Ruby: We all will!
Courtney: *nods yes* I know you will.
Tails Nine: Huh! It’s only a matter of time until I get a hold of you, Sonic! Until then, I’ll hold onto the princess for you. Grim Birdie Alpha, return to me!
(The Grim Birdie Alpha flies out of the world and into the Void to return to the Grim with Courtney held captive)

Inside the Crystal fortress/Tails Nine’s intentions[]

(Back at Nine’s crystal fortress in the Grim, Nine was waiting for the Grim Birdie Alpha to come back)
Courtney: *growls angrily at the Grim Birdie Alpha and tries to get out of it’s talon* Put me down, you bird bolt brain! That’s a royal order!!
(The Grim Birdie Alpha listens to her and drops her as she hits the ground)
Courtney: Oof! *rubs her head* Ow… *gets up and turns to the Grim Birdie Alpha* Could’ve been more gentle setting me down like that!
Tails Nine: Well, well, well…
Courtney: *hears him and turns around as she tilts her head a bit in confusion* …?
Tails Nine: *flies down to her using his tails and lands a few feet away from her as he uses his seven robotic tails to approach her* It’s so nice of you to drop in, princess.
Courtney: *glares at Nine* You’ve gone too far this time, Nine! Do whatever you want with me but leave Sonic alone!
Tails Nine: *circling around her* I’m afraid that won’t be necessary. You are merely bait to lure Sonic to me.
Courtney: *narrowing her eyes at him* What is it that you want with Sonic?! I demand that you tell me!
Tails Nine: Sonic has the prism energy that I need to charge the Paradox Prism! And once I do that, I can create the perfect world!
Courtney: You’re insane! That can destroy the other Shatterspaces and the people living in them will all die. Can’t you see what you’re doing is wrong?!
Tails Nine: *grabs Courtney by the neck with one of his robotic tails, angrily after she called him and his plan insane and pulls her towards him* Don’t you dare talk to me that way! This is my world, my rules!! You and Sonic betrayed me! You never did care about me or any of my ideas for a new world!
Courtney: *grunts while trying to get free from his grip on her neck* Oh, how tragic! I’ll send you an apology card!
Tails Nine: *throws her against the wall*
Courtney: *gets up after being thrown against the wall and activates her alicorn magic* I don’t want to fight you!!
Tails Nine: I don’t have to either. *uses one of his robotic tails and tase her in the chest*
Courtney: *screams in pain and agony after being tased by Nine as she falls to the ground while groaning in pain as her aura shatters*
(Her alicorn magic deactivates after being tased and she was struggling to stay awake)
Tails Nine: *dubbed as Xigbar* Pleasant dreams, kiddo.
Courtney: *blacks out*
Tails Nine: *uses the Prism’s energy to create a magic canceling shackle that is connected to the wall and then goes over to Courtney as he picks her up, brings her over to the shackle and puts it on her neck* Now, that the princess is chained up. This will give me enough time to create something special for her. *goes over to his desk and begins making something with his knowledge of technology*
(A few hours later, Tails Nine was finished with his special invention)
Tails Nine: Now, to test it. *presses a button on a controller as some electric zapping was heard* Perfect.
