- Courtney: *raises her paw before Ruby could raise her hand* I have something for you, Jinxy. A riddle and it’s my favorite. What walks on four legs in the morning, two at midday and then three at sunset?
- Jinxy: Uh, a three toed bull frog? No. A Jabberwalker with goose flesh? No. A gyrating armadillo? I guess not… I give up, what is it?
- Courtney: Humans like my big sisters. They crawl as babies, they walk as adults and they use a cane for a third foot when they grow very old.
- Jinxy: *laughs* Very good, kid! Alright, a deal’s a deal. The jade marionette is yours.
