"This shouldn't happen to a dog." - Courage at the end of Pilot episode.
Courage the Cowardly Dog (voiced Marty Grabstein) is a member of Jeffrey's Adventure team. He lived in a small town called Nowhere, and some creepy supernatural stuff would happen. So Courage would have to save his family from evil, even though he is afraid. Sometimes when something scary or bad happens, he can make things right, and even better, and fun. Earning a big reward in the end for both him, and the villain. One instant happened when he met a profiler who made people from paper. His artwork came to life to try and take on his owners until, Courage fixed them up, and played with them. When the profiler came to see his creations, he saw them flying as kites, and eventually accomplished his dream of giving his art life. He thank Courage, and gave him a kiss on the cheek, and returned to fair, with his creations in hand, laughing with joy all the way back.
Trivia
- Courage will meet Jeffrey and his team in Jeffrey & Friends meet Cinderella. At the end of Jeffrey & Friends meet Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time, he'll join the team.
- While he isn't exactly the bravest member of Jeffrey's team, Courage is willing to show great heroism at times of need.
- Like Nails, Courage acts as a guardian for Xion.
