Cobra Commander (voiced by Michael Dobson and Charlie Adler) is the leader of a ruthless terrorist organization called Cobra, and the main antagonist of the series G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero. Cobra Commander is one of the most diabolical villains ever known; he was once originally a Decepticon known as Starscream. However, after losing his body to Megatron, his spirit was about to be destroyed, until, he found an unused body & became its new host. He decided to wear a mask to hide his true identity, along with blue armor, with the symbol of a cobra showing its fangs, along with a black cape. He joined Cobra, & quickly rose in ranks to become their leader.
Cobra Commander didn't know that he would have his own problems with G.I.JOE, giving him nothing but trouble. He eventually learns of the United Universe from one of his troopers, Zartan, Cobra's master of Disguise & decides to take over the universe with his troopers, unaware of Megatron's return as well. Little did he know that Adventure Teams were also defeating Villains, & decided to destroy them, with no success. He became so angry, he decided to add on new members with powers of their own to join. To this very day, Cobra Commander has begun a rise to power campaign to increase Cobra's Forces in order to create a new empire bent on conquering the entire United Universe with in the grasp of a Snake, mainly a Cobra.
Cobra's forces are mainly robotic troopers, called Battle Android Troopers, BATS for short, armed to the blaster, he also specialize in using high tech military weapons he has minions steal from other forces in order to increase their power, along with Venomized Troopers, which are humans merged with the genetic DNA of various deadly Animals alive. Cobra Commander is menacing, dangerous, power-hungry, & obsessed with world domination. Cobra Commander uses a staff shaped just like a cobra, & a shield for protection. Cobra Commander has also created a statue of his former self, to remind himself to never go back, & move on with his plans.

- Cobra Commander will become Aaron's enemy in Aaron, & Friends Power Adventures in G.I.JOE Spytroops.
- Cobra Commander will return in Aaron, & Friends Power Adventures in G.I.JOE Valor vs Venom. At the end, he is arrested for his crimes.
- Cobra Commander will escape and continue his plans in Aaron, & Friends Power Adventures in G.I.JOE Sigma 6.
- Cobra Commander will appear in Aaron, & Friends Power Adventures in G.I.JOE Resolute. In the after credits scene, it will reveal Cobra Commander survived, by escaping into a Door of Darkness, and meet his new allies in The Kingdom of Darkness.
