Alister Azimuth (Voiced by Joey D'Auria) is a supporting character and later final boss in the video game, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.
Like Ratchet, General Alister is a Lombax from the planet Fastoon. He is also a Four-Bolt Magistrate of the Lombax Praetorian Guard, elder councilman for the Center of Advance Lombax Research and a childhood friend to Ratchet's father, Kaden. Alister posses an Praetorian Omniwrench, hover-boots and a pocket-watch that contains a picture of him and Kaden.
He is also an exile becasue he unknowingly help Perceval Tachyon, a Cragmite who the Lombax raised as one of their own before learning about his people's defeat by the Lombaxes. Despite Kaden warning Alister not to trust the Cragmite, Alister gave Tachyon access to Lombax technology, believing it could help repair the Polaris galaxy from the Great War. However, Tachyon use the technology to build an army of robots and attack Fastoon. Hundreds of Lombaxes were killed in the assault, including Kaden and his wife. For Alister's action for helping Tachyon, he was forbidden to join the surviving Lombaxes and was exiled to Torren IV in the Breegus System.
Stricken by grief by what he done, Alister discover the existence of The Great Clock and thought to use it to undo his mistake. Years later, he meet Kaden's son, Ratchet, who at first was an assassin and together they travel to different planets to find The Great Clock.
Alister explain to Ratchet that with the Clock, he can turn back time and save the Lombaxes.
After Ratchet said to Alister that the past should stay as it is, he became enraged and killed Ratchet with an Ion blast from his wrench. However, Clank went back 6 minutes and rescue his friend. Alister and Ratchet fought each-other in the Orvis Chamber where the general pull the switch back. However, the Clock started to crumble as the two fought.
Following his defeat, Ratchet said to Alister that the Clock was made to keep time, not alter it. Realizing his mistake, Azimuth said one last good-bye to Ratchet and use the Omniwrench to return time to it's normal flow. The Lombax general redeemed himself, but at the cost of his own life.
